A summer place in the winter

The apt is clean and big enough for 2 couples. The lighting is poor . No bedside or floor lights . Very harsh over head lights. Also there are no window coverings in the living room ...Too sunny and warm until 4 . Then you are in a fishbowl. Needs black out curtains/shades in the bedrooms . The neighbors have multiple flood lights on all night . The location is good for the summer , little overpriced for the winter.

Disastrous stay with unsympathetic host

Last morning of my son's stay the family woke to find the house in flood water and his car, parked in the designated parking space, submerged to the windows in sea water. The tow truck couldn't get near, and the family was marooned for 5 hours until the water suddenly vanished: it seems the storm drains the property were blocked. The car was totaled. Host was slow to realize the gravity of the flood and concerned only that she had another family arriving: she said it was an act of God, not her concern, and refused apology and/or compensation of any kind. There was no flood warning or any suggestion in the information provided that such a thing could happen, and no other houses were affected. I am sorry to leave a bad review of a property that otherwise seemed ok but wanted to warn others of the parking risks and of the hosts likely attitude to other problems..../Users/julietfleming/Desktop/IMG_7492.jpeg

Great hosts. Relaxing location out of the city

Really felt like we left New Haven and could relax at a beachside community. Our hosts were exceptional helping us get checked in and allowing us to really enjoy the property. Location is great for going to the beach and watching airplanes. I would stay here again.
