Welcome to this beautiful historic home in heART of the Twin Cities. This large home is ideal for family gatherings, time away with friends and retreats. Only a three block walk to all the shopping, restaurants and coffee shops Grand Ave has to offer. Located 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, less than 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul and less than 20 minutes from the airport. This central location in the Twin Cities is sure to please. There is plenty of room for groups of 12 to spread out. Please know this isNOT A PARTY HOUSE. We have wonderful neighbors and want to keep them happy. Welcome to our respectful and responsible community. We are pleased to inform you that this property is committed to Rent Responsibly standards. Yes! First of all the home is amazing. It is a fabulous Victorian era house with a modern kitchen and is really well furnished and decorated. Second, the hostess answered every query of ours quickly and thoroughly. Third, the location was fabulous for hosting our large family for all our activities in the Twin Cities. Parking was a breeze despite the snowy weather.

I wish I could give a higher rating! Jill and Erin were absolutely phenomenal hosts. The property itself is one you should take time to enjoy. There is beautiful artwork in every room and any need you could possibly have has been met before your arrival. I cannot wait to go back and stay longer. Do not miss staying here if you need to go to Minneapolis/St Paul!

Jill was a great host and we had the best time during our stay! The house is very comfortable for a family and great for kids. There are tons of amenities in the house for children, it’s located in a beautiful neighborhood with access to playgrounds and nearby shops and restaurants.

Incredible! I stayed here with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend and it was everything we could ask for and more! Super well equipped, clean, and so charming! To top it off we were greeted with a sweet note and snacks to enjoy for our stay! Would definitely recommend!

Baby Shower Stay

We were 11 women; family and friends - youngest 28 years; oldest 75 years drove and flew into town to host my daughters baby shower at St Paul Hotel.This home is the most magnificent VBRO I’ve ever stayed in and all 11 of us are in agreement! The host Jill and Aaron ensured and welcoming home - warm and inviting. Will need to come back for the baby’s baptism!!!

Perfect venue and location for a weekend wedding

We booked this for 10 of us for a wedding weekend. Everything was perfect where everyone had a comfortable bed and we loved the common gathering areas of the kitchen and family room where we enjoyed each other's company over coffee in the morning and wine at night. Jill was a great host. Very communicative and we could tell she put a lot of thought into the design and personal touches throughout the house. She even let us stay later than our check out to accommodate our later flights. And as a bonus is the artwork throughout the house. Location is awesome with several restaurants and shops within walking or short Uber distance. Highly recommend if you're looking for a venue for multiple folks.

Exceptional Family Reunion

House of heART 2 was the perfect setting as the center for our long overdue family reunion. While only 8 family members stayed at the home, we were joined during the days and evenings by 9 other family folks who lived nearby or stayed at hotels. (…and one night a young niece and nephew joined us with a sleepover !). We came from Kansas City, KS, Naperville, Aurora, Addison and Kankakee, IL, Rochester and St Paul MN. The home was well appointed and even nicer than the online photos suggested! Furniture is well appointed and clean, beds, linens and towels top notch, kitchen had TONS of anything you’d ever need. The basement “apartment” was perfect for separating different families and the children’s play nook and game cabinet was perfect!! Though it rained most of our long weekend, the spacious/clean front porch was a perfect place for us to gather and mingle about. We enthusiastically recommend House of heART 2!!

Family gathering

Our four sons and their family's came in from all over the world to attend my mother-in-law’s funeral. This house provided a wonderful and unique space that accommodated all of us. A big hit was the poker table in the basement that was used more then once. This is the most fully equipped short term rental i have ever booked. From snacks, to toothpaste, there was really nothing not provided for a welcoming and comfortable stay. Its location is as good as is possible if St Paul is your destination, with Grand Ave 2 blocks away. This will be the first place i try to book if we need a large home in the area again.

Jill’s home is perfect! We had a completely uneventful stay (in the best way), and everything was above our expectations and what was advertised. There is plenty of living space meaning lots of room for people to be spread out through the house. The only thing I would consider is that all of the bedrooms except the basement bedroom are on the top floor sharing one bathroom so those everybody has to be okay with that. However, that was exactly as advertised so no fault to Jill for that, just something to keep in mind when booking for your group if they’d be comfortable with that. The house was SO well stocked. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. Jill provides so many toiletries and snacks. This is an amazing house and we are looking to book again already.

Brimming with Joy: Our Experience at Heart House

My family had the pleasure of staying at the enchanting Saint Paul Heart House for my wedding, and I can hardly find the words to describe its stunning beauty. Walking through its charming rooms adorned with community art available for purchase, my heart overflowed with joy. The house's exquisite woodwork and overall charm took my breath away, and the neighborhood exuded a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. What made our stay truly exceptional, though, was the extraordinary hospitality of our host, Jill. She generously offered to accommodate us by allowing us to use the fridge early to store wedding food before the big day, sparing us the added stress. Throughout our stay, Jill maintained open and consistent communication, even kindly granting us the luxury of a leisurely departure the day after the wedding, understanding how fatigued we would be. She left us a heartwarming note and a thoughtful little gift, making our experience truly unforgettable. The Saint Paul Heart House is not just the finest VRBO I've ever encountered; it was so delightful that my husband and I secretly wished we could have stayed there with our family. The added convenience of garage parking, which is not always available, was another pleasant surprise. We've even contemplated returning for a staycation, just to relish the experience all over again.

Happy House

We all enjoyed our stay at your house. It was so different and interesting. The art, the house itself, the special children's area was all well planned. The space is truly large and comfortable, which helped as it was in the upper 90's most of the weekend. We couldn't decide on the best animal picture as the kids were so excited to find art everywhere! Lots of oohs and aahs, even about the 4-footed bathtub.

Family getaway

My family stayed at Jill and Aaron’s beautiful house for a weekend of extended family celebrations. The house is beautiful - a treasure from the past. Everything was clean and well stocked. Jill checked in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and went above and beyond to accommodate, even bringing us a roll of tape so we could wrap a gift! There were snacks out for us, a nice bottle of wine, Kuerig pods, coffee creamers, etc. I’ve never rented a place so accommodating! Each bedroom had extra linens, bathrooms had extra towels, etc. The garage is nice and spacious to park 2 cars. Quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown St. Paul, and many restaurants and shops. This is a true gem and we hope to come back soon! Thank you Jill and Aaron!

1) Coffee- you'll see this reflected throughout the houses. We provide Keurig and Nespresso pods, beans, coffee grinder, sugar and cream to all guests. Or hit up the impressive local coffee shop scene.

2) Relaxing Spaces- both of our houses provide relaxing environments and spaces to read, chill, or to just simply be. There's plenty of outdoor relaxing space in one of the many parks or lakes.

3) Entertainment- The Twin Cities is an arts and entertainment Juggernaut, and you don’t have to go downtown to see some of the best acts in the city. Free outdoor music, movies, and entertainment are on tap all summer long. And just minutes away is downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, where you’ll find state-of-the-art music venues, world-renowned theaters, hilarious comedy clubs, exciting casinos, and speedy race horses.

4) AMAZING Food and Drinks- The Twin Cities are starting to be known for their food scene. People magazine named Minneapolis one of the nation’s 10 hottest foodie cities in 2018.
