Venice Vacation May 2025

Great property to stay at. Very close to the beach but more like 10 min walk and 5 min by car. (Not a big deal) The property owner also made me get insurance which was utilized because they thought we cracked the bath tub in one of the bathrooms. In reality it was already like that the first day we got there but according to them the cleaning service didn't point it out ahead of time. Regardless, it didn't costme anything since they required us to purchase insurance before we rented anyway. Pretty good communication and overall I think I would stay here again.

Relaxing Beach Retreat

Wonderful property! Great location...close to beautiful beaches and Historic Downtown Venice! The unit was nicely updated, very clean, and the owner was very responsive in answering our questions. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and would definitely stay here again!

Another great annual visit to Venice

Our VRBO rental was very nice for my husband and me as we escaped the gray chilly weather in Columbus! Duplex owner Gayle was great, easy to contact, and the unit was very clean and well taken care of. We would rent from her again!

Venice Beach Family Christmas!

Very nice property with two bedrooms. Was so nice to have a second bathroom with shower! The screened in sitting area was beautiful to sit and read in the mornings and evenings. There is a roll out twin bed that worked well for my significant others mom to sleep on. It was clean and had every amenity you could possibly need while staying. There wasn’t an air fryer but there is an air fryer option on the stove! The kids used it to warm up leftovers. Washer and dryer was nice to have to wash dandy clothes. I would highly recommend staying here!! Happy New Year to Gayle, the owner !

Absolutely 💯 fantastic place to stay. Close to beach and Suncoast airport cafe. Great little breakfast cafe. Will definently come back. The owner is so kind.

Venice getaway

Highly recommend this rental. Very clean, well appointed, modern renovation to this 2 bedroom duplex. Just a few blocks off the beach. In an established neighborhood in downtown Venice with lots of landscaping to offer shade for the lanai. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded our Expectations!!!

The duplex was easy to find in a safe quiet neighborhood. There was an awesome downtown full of souvenirs and loads of restaurants! There were lots of beaches nearby and we found loads of shark teeth! The photos of this property don't do it justice and the property owner was easy to communicate with!!! The only suggestions I have are more butter knives and maybe a little guest book with instructions or a book to leave notes in for future guests! Loved that there was a coffe shop and the Venice Merchantile across the street!!! We recommend staying here for sure!!!!

Venice Florida in January is not a bad place to be

I am a retired engineer and I like to leave places better than I find them. The owner allowed me to change the furnace air filter and I repaired some bicycles. It was an enjoyable stay.

Clean, quiet and all you need

Comfortable cottage for two adults, plus. Very clean with plenty of cookware if you need it. The surrounding area was very quiet for night time sleeping and felt very safe. The easy access to the beach and to the main road leading to stores, dining and activities was a plus. Gayle, the owner answered my two phone calls promptly and helpfully.

Clean and safe area

Accommodations were clean and in excellent repair. Property owner communication for minor troubleshooting was lightening fast. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is my second time staying here. I stayed last year in the other unit. Gayle is very accommodating and the unit is modern, clean and in a convenient location. I recommend either unit as you won't be disappointed.

Family Getaway

We loved our stay at your place!!! It was very clean had enough space for everyone, and equipped with everything we needed which came in very handy so we didn't have to go out and buy a lot of stuff for our stay. The location was perfect not to mention very close to a beautiful beach where we spent a lot of our time. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again if we ever headed back that way! Thank you for being an amazing host!
