This 4-bedroom, 1 media room, 3.5 bath vacation home with water views is completely renovated and newly decorated. All bathrooms and kitchen have custom touches, stainless steel appliances, island in the kitchen as well as eating/bar area. This home also features a great room and a slate tiled fireplace. Other features include front porch and back screened-in porch. Short drive to Assateague Island National Seashore and Ocean City. The famous Ocean City boardwalk is 11.4 miles away.

Perfect for our family get away

Neat house with great furniture and ample space in the bedrooms. Just right for the price. Thanks for letting us stay, we hope to be back some day!

This is our second year staying with Cynthia and again, I have nothing but good things to say. Not only is the house beautiful, and equipped with everything you could ever want and need, Cynthia always has, and continues to go above and beyond for her guests, making her our top selection when it comes to places to stay near Ocean City. We have already began to plan a trip back next year, staying in The Lavender Beach house, and can't wait to return!

The Lavender Beach House is very spacious and comfortable for a large group. It was a clean and well cared for home.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poorly Maintained PropertyWe arrived after the allowed check-in time to find dirty laundry on the porch, no towels or sheets, and unmade beds. After contacting the host, Cynthia, she reached out to linen services, and sheets were eventually dropped at the door around 11pm. Towels didn’t arrive until the next day, leaving us completely unprepared our first night.The property was dirty and clearly not cleaned before our arrival. We found dirty dishes in the oven, a pan full of grease, ants on the table, sticky surfaces, and dead flies on the window sills. Trash cans were completely full when we arrived. There were also no kitchen towels — we received a random Amazon delivery the next day with a few after mentioning it.We shared photos with Cynthia, but instead of acknowledging the condition of the property, she was defensive and dismissive. It took several messages and pressure just to receive the cleaning fee back. Closets contained personal items like clothing, shoes, and even a laptop. This was by far the worst Vrbo experience I’ve had, and I’ve stayed in many. The lack of preparation, cleanliness, and professionalism from the host was extremely disappointing.

OMG -- Wonderful

House is updated and in a GREAT area!! Very, very peaceful, relaxing, quiet -- great water views from upstairs bedrooms, not far from the action but a world away!! Very HGTV feel -- open design, huge master bath, comfortable beds -- had a wonderful time.

Nice house but could be cleaner

Great house but over all cleaning needed for refrigerator, table and counters and rug. No vacuum.

Horrible Experience- Filthy House

I booked this property for a family retreat of 9 people, Cynthia stated it was 1 person after i sent her an email clarifying there would be 9 adults. This property is not as pictured! Property manager stated the cleaning people had just left the property before our arrival, however upon our arrival it was clear the house had not been cleaned. Dirty laundry left at front door, kitchen counters dirty and sticky, frying pans in cabinet were greasey, broken mirror in bonus room, porch was extremely dirty with cobwebs and dirty chairs that we had to clean ourselves, sunroom was dusty and dirty also had pieces of boards lying on floor. Dog hair on both porches. Sofa in living room needs to be cleaned. Bathrooms had not been cleaned, hair in tubs, bathroom shower heads in all bathrooms were disgusting and need to be cleaned, dirty bath rugs in bathrooms, cobwebs in corners. Hardwood floor in kitchen area had planks sticking up and poses a tripping hazzard. None of the beds had linens on then, when i notified property manager she sent the linen service to drop off the linens at 10:30pm. The cleaning people, only took out the trash, SMH! This house need a serious deep cleaning and updating. My siblings and I have stayed at many VRBO's and this was the worst experience we've ever had! Please use this review as a means to improve this house and guest experience.
