Wake up to panoramic views of the Puget Sound, stroll the short walk to Old Town and the waterfront, then toast the day's end while drinking in the sunset. Perched on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound, this high-end property is mere minutes away from all of the entertainment and dining offered in the Proctor neighborhood and downtown Tacoma. We can't wait to host you!

This listing is for the TOP unit of a duplex. Each unit sleeps six and both can be rented for a total of 12 guests.

This tastefully renovated Tacoma property features high-end amenities and a modern vibe. Enjoy a bottle of wine (from the tasting room only blocks away) in front of the gas fireplace. Socialize with guests and enjoy the view while cooking in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counters. Enjoy the full en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions, full capacity washer and dryer, and comfortable sleeping space for six guest with a king bed in the front master, queen in the back master, and a surprisingly comfortable full-size hideaway bed in the living room couch.

Our home is one of the more updated, modern, and clean you will come across, with great care taken in nearly every detail. You will not be disappointed after staying with us!

NEIGHBORHOOD
This is by the far the best neighborhood in Tacoma, right in the heart of Old Town and two blocks from the waterfront with expansive views of the Puget Sound. Just minutes from the Tacoma Dome, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and Point Ruston (with a movie theatre and amazing shopping and dining). Guests can hit the Proctor farmer's market, the fresh fish market on Ruston Way, or explore nightlife in downtown Tacoma. Three are Uber drivers aplenty, the bus stop is within a block, and you can even ride bikes.

PARKING
Ample on-street parking available, and for persons who cannot do the staircase from the front street, back street parking is also available.

Please note that the front of the property is on a main road, and while it's typically not an issue, sensitive sleepers may notice some traffic noise.
The front of the property has a somewhat steep and narrow staircase up from 30th street with no railings. The path from the alley at the back of the property has fewer steps with railings.

The Penthouse was the perfect location for my friends and I. It was clean, well stocked and the view was amazing. This is a great location in a lovely neighborhood. There was plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive away. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

Great location with a wonderful view of Puget Sound. Spacious 2 bedroom—each with its own bathroom—plus a guest bathroom. Lovely and clean. Full kitchen with everything one could need in order to cook their own meals, reheat leftovers, etc. Nice living room and dining room. We would happily stay here again, and would be comfortable with staying longterm on another trip.

Beautiful view, Nice location

All the basics for a family stay. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms and clean. Easy check-in. Involved check out- dishwasher loaded, garbages out, recycling sorted, towels to wash area. If stair are challenging for you this might not be the best option. If you are a very light sleeper the train horns in the distance might be an annoyance best option.

Great stay with gorgeous views

We really enjoyed our time in this home. It was great for our family of 4. There were thoughtful touches, like having shampoo, etc and even toothbrushes and toothpaste! We loved waking up to the fantastic view and lounging in the comfy chair and couch after a busy day of sightseeing. The location was very nice and clean! The hosts were responsive if we had questions. Highly recommend!

Clean, Modern, and Confy!

Our stay here was amazing! The house is gorgeous and had plenty of space and was very tastefully decorated. The master bed/mattress was very comfortable. Sheets were soft and there were plenty of towels and amenities. That living room big round swivel chair was the best! Location and neighborhood - adorable! Very cute area. The parking situation wasn’t the best but everything there is on an hill.

Tacoma Stay

We traveled to Tacoma to visit our UPS student. The rental was a spacious and clean central meeting point with a beautiful view of the sound. Our first morning we were met with no hot water. It was unfortunate not to get that after travel shower but the host was very responsive and the unforeseen issue was fixed by afternoon. Overall we would recommend and stay again.

Excellent in All Ways

Our stay at this property was truly an excellent experience. The place was clean, comfortable and well designed. The view out over Commencement Bay was really special and, while the weather was not always cooperative, it got better as our stay went on. - Comfortable furniture and beds - Well appointed kitchen - Clear instructions and communications (the two page house manual was concise and well curated) - Excellent location, near a great part of Tacoma. Fantastic home in Old Town Tacoma

Our stay at this wonderful home was great. The penthouse itself is beautiful, the amenities are all top of the line, and views are spectacular. Bradley was also very responsive and helpful in all our communications before, during, and after our stay. This is easily one of the nicest VRBO accommodations that we have ever stayed at, and we hope that we are able to stay again on our next trip to Tacoma.

Cozy with a Fantastic View

I stayed here for three nights for a work trip and would stay again. The view was beautiful, it was quiet, the beds were very comfortable and the penthouse had all the amenities that we needed. It was a short drive into Old Town Tacoma where we found a lot of quality restaurants.
