Great place!

Very relaxing location! Well stocked house! We enjoyed the lake area and the house. Kids had a blast and loved the loft area. Karen was great to work with and very helpful! Would stay again!

Beautiful views

Spent a relaxing getaway with my family at this lovely home. Great host! Very comfortable and cozy home. We all enjoyed kayaking daily and kids loved playing in the beachfront lake access. Would rent again. Thank you for you BBQ suggestions it was 😋

Perfect for us

This property was the perfect for us. It is hard to find a private, sandy beach with no road to cross on the Great Sacandaga lake for a reasonable price. This one checks all those boxes! The house was quaint and clean with everything you need for a comfortable and cozy vacation. Step out the back door and enjoy your own private backyard and beach area. It is close to restaurants, grocery stores and other conveniences. We will be booking again!

Property was in a great spot, boat access, nice swimming area, great yard space.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this adorable home. Everything was clean and tidy. The kids had a great time playing games on the large lawn. We had a fun time kayaking and swimming in the lake. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing week!! Only down side, it was olympic week and there is no local TV coverage, we had to rely on internet for that. If it had been any other week- the lack of TV would not have mattered.

What a View!

Karen was an excellent host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The Lake House is cozy and clean with an open living area and kitchen. The pictures do not do the panoramic view of the lake justice, whether sitting on the porch or looking out the kitchen window at Scout Island it’s just beautiful. The upstairs is perfect for families and our grandchildren loved all sleeping in the big room. The kids also loved swimming and jumping off the end of the dock. The beach area and hammocks were great for the adults to relax and enjoy. We had a great time with our family staying at this Lake house.

Wonderful retreat

Had a wonderful relaxing time. The house(especially the enclosed porch) and land were great. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and reading on the private beach. Karen was great and responded right away with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay on the lake

Karen was great and easy to get in touch with! The house was perfect for our family gathering. We loved the grass lawn to play games on, the dock and water toys as well as the fire pit. The place provided many ways for us to create family memories. The loft area was perfect as was the laundry room. We absolutely loved it!

Exceeded all expectations!

The property is amazing and house adorable -- the photos don't do it justice. What a perfect spot for a lakeside getaway, the kind where you never have to leave! Karen was great and very responsive. The house had kayaks and tubes and a paddleboard and lawn games galore. The beach and dock are perfect for swimming, and my husband took the kayak out each day to go fishing. My boys loved having the loft to themselves and were over the moon when they discovered all the toys and games in the house. The property is gorgeous and every sunset breathtaking. All in all a terrific and restful getaway. Couldn't have asked for more.

This lake house was fantastic!

The house was very clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. We felt very comfortable from the minute we arrived. We spent a lot of time on the awesome enclosed porch because we had quite a bit of rain. However when the sun came out we took advantage of the huge lawn for games and barbecuing, the beach and dock for swimming, fishing and water gun fights and the kayaks for exploring the lake. This place is beautiful! The views are priceless! We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to stay there again sometime.

Lovely spot right on the lake, peaceful surroundings, comfortable stay.

The lake view is stunning, we saw sunrises and sunsets that were beautiful. We brought a boat, launched it down the street from the property and we were able to keep it tied to the dock on the property for the entire week, allowing us to use it everyday! The cottage is air conditioned (we were in the 90's all week), comfortable and very clean. Karen was great, she answered all questions we had. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we experienced. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice

The house and lake are very nice, just as described. Karen was very easy to work with and very helpful in making our vacation pleasant. The kayaks provided were very nice. We used them quite a bit, but the lake is so big you really need a motor boat to explore it. The water quality was good for swimming but the bottom was silty which bothered us getting into the water. All and all I would recommend our stay.

we loved it here

loved it.. the yard to the lake was huge and the house was perfect..we didnt want to ever leave..we wil be back for snow mobile season too..they actually put hammocks in the trees next to the lake so we could read and watch the lake it was so cool...thanks for letting us stay there..

We purchased this property in 2009. We love the lake and have enjoyed all the room we have to play and put all of our 'toys'.

This property has enabled us to have quality family time together. We do have wireless internet and cable. We also have a tv with a vcr and dvd player for the rainy days. And we do have cell service at this location. We primarily spend the days in the water boating, swimming, relaxing in the hammock, playing games and eating. And the nights we play games as a family and just enjoy being together without the pressure of always having to be someplace.
