Beautiful River Views and River Access! This unique 5 bed, 2 full bath contemporary sits on 1.39 acres of tranquil, private land with year-round views of the CT River and St. Clements Marina. Enjoy relaxing on your large deck while taking in the river views or take a short stroll to the Oakum Dock Preserve at the end of your quiet road to fish or drop your kayak in for a day of fun on the CT River. This beautiful home has hardwood floors throughout, vaulted ceilings with large windows letting in tons of natural light, central air for hot summer days and a cozy, warm fireplace with insert for chilly nights. Book just for your family or with another family (it sleeps 11 comfortably) and enjoy all this home has to offer. Minutes from wineries, restaurants, supermarkets, ice cream shops and anything you could need for a week or weekend away. TVs and WiFi throughout the home. There is nothing to do here but move in and enjoy!

My family and I visited CT to go see our grandparents and extended family. We loved the location of the rental, being tucked away with a peaceful water front view. We were also close to everything we needed. The house was clean and full of supplies for many activities for kids, cooking, cleaning, etc. So check at the rental before you go shopping for something! Communication with the host was easy and fast, very appreciative of that. Our flight was cancelled and we had to stay another day and they were very accommodating. Overall, we would definitely rebook if coming back to CT & it was available.

NE TRIP

Many places in the house to relax and enjoy. Loved the natural light, the view and the sound of birds to wake up to. The layout is quirky and for those with mobility issues it’s slightly challenging (i.e. railings on the front steps and upstairs). Appreciate the responsiveness. Front door lock was tricky-took several tries to make sure it was secure. Very comfortable.

Family time

The property was rustic yet very inviting. It was nicely remodeled and and there was plenty of things that we needed. A lot of televisions and video games. A nice fireplace which we didn't actually get to use, but nice to look at incase we wanted to. Nice deck and yard with wonderful view of the Connecticut river. A little picnic table area ro go sit. I just wish there was more space at the water. The kitchen standing are was kind of small to be able to stand straight at the sink with the dishwasher open, was very crammed. Overall it was just right but our grown family to all meet up with 5 comfotable bedrooms and plenty if space for us to visit comfortably. Very clean and neat.

Family time

Property was exactly as listed. We had a great time. The home is on a dead end street, so no traffic noise. If you're looking for something to do while there, Mystic Seaport was about an hour away as well as some beaches. The property owner was quick to answer any concerns we had and very easy to reach. We had a relaxing vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay with family

We requested an early check in, which was quickly accommodated, and much appreciated. The property was as described, with thoughtful amenities. A great stay with lots of room for the kids to spread out.

Very comfortable, family friendly home near the river

The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and inviting. Great for kids and families to spread out. The river is a plus and they have kayaks and life vests to use!
