Private Cabin w Pool & Hot Tub on 14 Acres - 1 HR From Houston

Escape to your own private country retreat just about an hour from Houston. 3Hermanos Cabin sits on 14 private acres at the edge of the Piney Woods, with a private pool, 7-person hot tub, stocked pond, hiking trails, fire pit and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Spend the day swimming in your private pool, exploring the trails, fishing in the half-acre pond, or simply relaxing on the large back deck. In the evening, fire up the charcoal grill, gather around the fire pit, or unwind in the hot tub under the stars.

The pond is stocked with bass, catfish and bluegill, so bring your fishing poles and try your luck. The dock is also one of our favorite places to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests in beds, with two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Two additional guests can be accommodated using air mattresses. The cabin is fully furnished and includes central heat and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Roku TV, board games and lawn games.

Amenities include:

14 private acres — the property is yours to enjoy without neighboring homes right next door
Private swimming pool (not heated)
7-person therapeutic hot tub/spa
Half-acre stocked fishing pond (water level varies)
Private hiking trails
Large outdoor deck
Charcoal grill
Fire pit
Fully equipped kitchen
Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, basic creamers, sugar and tea
Wi-Fi
Roku TV
Board games
Lawn games including badminton and cornhole
Pool towels and bath towels

A true country getaway: 3Hermanos Cabin is intentionally off the beaten path and is accessed by a dirt road. This is a rural property surrounded by woods and nature, so guests should expect to encounter insects, wildlife and other country critters during their stay.

Holiday stays may require a 3-night minimum.

Come enjoy the privacy, space and slower pace of 3Hermanos Cabin — close enough to Houston for an easy getaway, but far enough away to feel like you've escaped the city.

The property is very secluded and quiet, just what we were looking for. Little to no cell service, but we were ok with that as well. The house got a little warm in late afternoon but with the Texas heat in August what would you expect, other than that the house stayed very cool. I would recommend this property to anyone who just wants to unplug and relax.

If you’re wanting to get away for a nice quiet stay this is a great place. Nice above ground pool, no close neighbors, just peace and quiet. Nice home, clean and well furnished. For the fishermen out there, it’s not a great choice. The “dock/pier” was surrounded by weeds, no where near the water and rickety. With all the overgrowth the access to the pond is limited. Caught a few small bass and lots of small perch. Bring insect repellent cause there are lots of mosquitoes. The price is high for what you’re getting which I’m sure is because of the proximity to Houston. The communication with the host was great.

Perfectly relaxing family getaway

Our family wanted an unplugged vacation, where we could spend time together enjoying the outdoors, relax, and not be tethered to electronics. 3 Hermanos cabin was ideal! The cabin is charming, very comfortable, and well-stocked with necessities. And the outdoor amenities meant that our whole family was happily entertained, either with swimming/spa time or exploring the trails. The hosts were very responsive to the few questions we had and we feel that their lovely home was the perfect retreat from the day-to-day. We look forward to visiting again!

Annual family getaway

This peaceful location outside of Cleveland checked all the boxes for our family getaway. A covered deck w/a beautiful pool & hot tub steps from the door. A fully stocked pond for those that liked to fish. Although we were here in the blazing heat of August, the house air conditioning kept the inside very comfortable at all times. The three year old summed it all up saying " I never want to leave here". The host, Angela was very gracious & answered all our questions quickly.

A Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 3 Hermanos cabin. Our only regret was that we didn't book it long enough! It was such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Our little one didn't want to leave. The cabin is clean and adorable. We loved the decor and how welcoming the cabin and Angela, the owner, was. Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings with plenty to do between swimming, hiking, playing games with the kiddos, grilling and more. Everything was perfect. We can't wait to come back.

We all had an absolutely wonderful weekend. We were a little disappointed with the pond. Absolutely no fault of the hostess or the owner. Pond was just a victims of a Texas drought. We all would definitely recommend this place despite the pond. :) We do look forward to staying there again someday soon! Thank you Angela for all your help!

Nice Getaway

This was a much needed getaway for my husband and I. We stopped at the nearest grocery store,McClains, to get our groceries, so we wouldn't have to leave once we were at the house. I will warn you they're groceries were overpriced, so stop somewhere else. The house is beautiful and has everything that you would need. We did find one trail that led around the pond, but didn't find any others. We enjoyed the covered back patio, where we spent most of our time. Swimming pool and hot tub were great! We did a little fishing and alot of relaxing. Highly recommend!

This is the best Vrbo/ABnB I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been traveling like this since 2013. The place is better than the description. Every minen smelled wonderful and was great quality. The kitchen had everything you’d need. Just bring food. Everything was in working order and there are thoughtful touches throughout. We used the pool, hot tub, grill, oven, fire pit, all work and not a single issue came up. It was a lovely stay and can’t wait to come back.

Secluded, clean, and charming! Perfect for a rural Southeast Texas getaway. The property is very well maintained, cozy, and inviting. The hosts have thought of everything including a map of property trails, labeling just about every light switch and drawer in the home. Get ready to unplug because cell service is not great this far out, and the hosts have kindly asked not to connect your phones to the satellite WiFi because of data limitations. There are TV streaming services, and if you don't mind the ads, there is plenty to watch for free on Tubi if you just gotta watch something on TV. You should also know, if you are traveling in very hot or cold weather that this is an older home with lots of windows, so pack accordingly! For a summer visit, there are lots of fans in the home and the house cools down very well at night.During our stay, the pond was a good bit lower than how it shows in the listing, which of course the hosts cannot help. However, if you've got good footwear, plenty of bug spray, and are careful, you can follow the pond trail back behind the pond to where find the land slopes off enough that you can walk down to the water's edge for some CNR fishing. The fish are small, but we had a nibble on every cast and caught a few small bass. It was humid back in the trees, but we jumped in the pool to cool off afterward. There is a small resident alligator who may come out and scowl at you for catching his fish, but he keeps his distance. What a fun weekend!
