Large family oasis

Totally outstanding. We are a family of 16 - - 10 adults and six children, It's obvious that the owners have planned for a group our size as there are plenty of dishes and utensils and storeage spaces. There is an excellent kitchen/family room center for gathering and preparing meals. There are plenty of beds that accomodated the younger children and three private bedrooms for couples.

Everything we needed

Perfect home for a group of college students volunteering at a local organization and skiing on spring break. Plenty of space to spread out, cook, and share meals. Safeway grocery nearby. Short drive to Winter Park Resort. We loved the hot tub. Owner was responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Reunion

This house was perfect for our family get together to go skiing and hang out. The set up was perfect with two bunk rooms for the kids (one for the girl cousins and one for the boy cousins) with plenty of spacious bedrooms for the parents, grand parents, and uncle. Everything kept commenting on how the house set up was just what we needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the distance to everything was pretty close with a safeway down the road. The views from the house were awesome and we enjoyed playing in the snow and snow tubing at the place across the way. Overall a great experience by all. There was a large mud room to take off all our snow gear with baseboard heaters below the coat hooks to help everything dry.

Fraser Cabin

Great house for family gathering. Room enough to spread out, large kitchen with room enough for multiple cooks at once, and a nice second "living area" where the kids could hang out and play games and watch movies. House is in a town location but not close to neighbors and has a good view of mountain peaks and we were all thrilled to have a moose wander through the property. Overall, a great house and location where a good time was had by all.

Great for large groups

We had a large group of 16 there for a ski/wedding weekend. The house fit us all perfectly. There was plenty of room in the driveway for all of our cars and it was nice having 2 living rooms to relax in the morning. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed. We had a little issue with one of the showers, but our house contact was very easy to get in touch with and very responsive. All around we had a great stay!

Great place for a large group

Our large group had a nice time at this home. The location is ideal, close to stores, town, hiking, etc. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The house is large with lots of beds and sleeping space - very comfortable for everyone. Check-in was a breeze, communication with the owner was also very easy. We had a few issues with running out of supplies but contacted Stephanie and she reimbursed us for the purchase. The house is older and needs a deep cleaning but that is easily fixed. We would stay here again - it was a great fit for our group. Thank you!

Great House

This Fraser house was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of room for us to spread out or join together for a family meal, and the kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks. The kids enjoyed a second living space away from the adults where they could play games or watch a movie. The balcony is large with wonderful views and two tables for outdoor meals or gatherings. A moose wandered over from across the street and posed quite nicely for us, needless to say we were all thrilled. Several in our party enjoyed visiting the town shops and the grocery store is very convenient - no need to bring all your meals with you. The local fishing, including the small lakes below the house, were a big hit and all of the kids caught several good-sized fish. The Fraser house is a wonderful home-base for lots of activities to be enjoyed in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Great for a large group!

Overall, very happy with our stay here. Only one issue to mention: the listing shows pictures of a large garage with the house, but at the last minute (in our check-in instructions), the host let us know that we would not have access to the garage. This was a big draw-back, as we selected this place because we believed it would have a garage (for bike storage). With no garage, we also didn't have any place to keep the trash can safe from bears. After a bear tore through the trash one night, we had to bring the dumpster into the front entryway to keep it safe from bears. Stinky!

Fantastic!

We brought our family to this beautiful property to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. Because of previous experiences with a couple rented VRBOs, we did not expect the property to look as nice as the photos. How wrong we were! The house was immaculately cleaned, everything was in its place and even enough soap and shampoo in the showers for all 18 of us for 5 nights! The only problem we had was with the step to the landing of the stairway to downstairs. My husband (86 years of age) was going to go down to the car via this stairway because he could get a much better grip on the railings than going via the deck. . Because of color of the flooring, the step to the landing was difficult for him to see there was a step and he fell onto the landing. Thank god he was not injured other than his pride and a couple small bruises. My only suggestion would be to put something a contrasting color to indicate one needs to step down to open the door to the stairwell to downstairs. Other than that! we all had a great time and all said we would love to rent it again. Thank you for adding to our anniversary by allowing us to stay there. It’s a perfect location for the many fun things to do in this beautiful area of Colorado.

The house has a nice layout. The property manager was easy to reach and addressed all of our concerns right away. It is an older home but it worked for our family vacation.

Perfect Location

Perfect location for all snow activities such as tubing, skiing, and snowmobiling. Everything was 15mins or less. They also have a free shuttle to take you everywhere in town.

Mountain Experience

Good location for biking trail and close to a creek! Our 2 year old saw a bear walk past our house! The check in process was very smooth. The owner even let us check in early! We did have several issues. Although not huge, it would be nice if future guests didn’t have to put up with them. The hot tub water was green and very smelly the first night. The second night, it had been cleaned but water was in the 50s. The third night, the water was hot but the jets barely worked. That was disappointing! The oven door hinge is broken. It takes 2 to get things in and out of oven. The trash was full when we got there. We had to pile it in the garage the whole time. Otherwise, it was a good experience!

Wonderful Base for Family Gathering

The house generously accommodated our extended family; bedroom options; working together in the upscale kitchen; small groups for movies, games , puzzles, conversation. Spacious and comfortable! Plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles even with boats in tow. Nice variety of nearby activity options. Hot tub needs attention to control panel.

Perfect place for our family vacation.

This was a perfect home for our family vacation with 11 of us-my spouse, 3 kids and their spouses and 3 grandkids. Couples each had their own bedroom. We didn't even use one of the bedrooms. There was plenty of space for everyone. Home was very clean. Kitchen well stocked and very nice appliances. Plenty of towels in bathrooms. View of mountains was great and sunsets were spectacular. Very convenient to lots of things to do in Fraser and Winter Park. Golf, horseback riding, grocery store, and other stores/restaurants are within 15 minutes. There are lakes in Fraser for fishing. Bike riding trail in town is paved and flat. Easy access to lots of trails. Area is quiet. Easy check in. Stephanie was very helpful in making sure checkout was stress free.

Good place for a large group

We had family from east, west, and north that all met-up at this central location. We found the bathrooms to not be as clean as we would have liked, and there little bits of trash around the property outside. Upon contact with the property manager the issues were quickly made right. The location was good, quiet, large driveway for several vehicles, a lot of bedrooms and beds, large living room/dining room/kitchen which is great for entertaining and hanging out. There is a 2nd living room area as well. Plenty of space for the 17 (adults and young children) in our party. We wouldn't have an issue staying at this property again.

Family Christmas

The space accommodated our extended family of grandparents, kids, and grandchildren. Kitchen was well equipped, making meal preparation and serving convenient. Instructions for thermostats, tv, etc. would be helpful. Property manager was very helpful.

Thanksgiving 2019

Overall we had a great family gathering. The house was just the right size to take care of our needs. There were some issues when we first got there, but Stephanie did a great job of resolving the problems once I contacted her. They went above & beyond to make things right including an adjustment on the rental fee. There were other smaller issues- not an adequate supply of toilet paper or tissues- the light above the stove was burned out as was a light in the upstairs bathroom. Again, these are housekeeping problems that can easily be corrected and certainly wouldn't keep us from renting the house again. The house could also use a thorough deep clean including having the carpet cleaned. Our family left happy and refreshed.

Nice getaway

This house was perfect for our group of 3 families. Check in and out was easy, the house was stocked with cooking utensils, games, and movies. Hot tub ran perfectly, and the view/location was great! There were a couple issues with house upkeep though... lots of burned out light bulbs, so we had to swap some out, two of the kitchen cabinets were completely off their hinges, and there was no outside lighting (could have been as simple as more burned out bulbs, but we didn’t mess with it). The large trash can was out at the end of the driveway when we arrived, and it was almost completely full, so we had issues trying to dispose of our trash when we left the house. Overall a nice stay, but needs a little attention from management.
