The room was very basic but had everything we needed for a short stay. The view of the bay was awesome.

Simple and easy

I stayed here a few nights with work before meeting my family at another place in SanDestin. Simple is what I can say. A couple of beds and, a clean bathroom, perfect for what I needed. A place to sleep and clean up. The location is perfect, walk to a pool, the views are amazing, very quiet as well. It wouldn't be somewhere I'd stay for a week if visiting the area with family or friends, but again it worked great for me.

This was advertised as a condo. It was a motel room. No kitchen, no bedroom, just a motel room! A company called Vasaca charged me 100.00 and when I try to call them they hang up on me. Tried five times. So just be careful booking this through Expedia.

Not as advertised!

The unit looked fresh and pristine in the pics. Upon arrival we were greatly disappointed. The room did not look like the pictures online. There were SEVERAL issues with the room. The room needs some serious updating and upkeep. Stains on walls, stains and holes on bedsheets. Bathroom walls had hair on them in several places, mold on shower ceiling, missing paint, toilet and bathroom counter were extremely short as if they were made for toddler size. The ice machine downstairs had mold inside the water line tubes that dispense water and ice (beware). I could go on and on. I would NOT recommended this unit.

Save your money & book through the resort instead!

We stay at Sandestin every year, multiple times a year. This time rather than booking though the resort like we usually do, we booked through vrbo to see what the difference might be. When you book through the resort, you get all the amenities like bicycle riding, kayaking & paddle boarding included as well as certain stays within the resort have room service. Booking through vrbo gave us barely the necessities, there was no telephone in the room so there is no calling the front desk of the resort if you need extra towels or anything of the matter. You do not get rooms keys, so therefore you cannot enjoy the additional amenities of the resort as listed above. I am disappointed at the massive difference of booking through vrbo vs the resort. Any future reservations will be through the resort like my past stays. Cabinets were drilled shut, you only get 4 towels, no telephone. It was as basic as you could possibly get, I would not recommend to any friends or family and I want other people to be aware before they waste their money as well.
