Experience all that San Antonio has to offer when you book this 2-bedroom, 1-bath vacation historic rental home less than a mile from all the action! With attractions like The Alamo, River Walk, and Pearl District nearby, rich history awaits you around every corner! Spend your days touring museums or cheering on the Spurs and unwind each evening with a nightcap in the hammock while stargazing under the endless Texan sky. Our home is located less than a 4 minture walk to the Alamodome and Hemisphere. If you are in town for a convention at the Convention Center you can walk or catch a quick taxi/uber ride. We are also located within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. With a full kitchen, free WiFi, and prime location, private backyard and deck, you’ll never want to leave!

Our history buffs, sports fans, and tourists can feel at home with this primely situated property, offering modern amenities and a peaceful outdoor space to easily unwind after a day of sightseeing.

We provide the following: trash bags, dish soap, dish washer soap, laundry soap, paper towels (2 rolls), and counter top cleaner
LIVING ROOM:
Couch and chair. We have a ROKU TV for you to sign into your apps for television viewing. We provide High Speed internet througout the home
OUTDOOR LIVING:
Private fenced yard, furnished deck, covered porch, hammock, and parking space for 2 cars. We have a gas grill on site for your use
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, Keurig coffee maker, blender, dishware & flatware, spices & more
PARKING: Driveway (2 vehicles) this is one car in front of the other driveway. You must be able to pull in from an alley way access. Not recommended if you are not experienced with alley way and pulling in and out. Some guests have had issues with larger trucks/suvs. There is also street parking right outside the alleys way.
**WE DO NOT HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. THIS IS A HISTORIC HOME BUILT ON PIER AND BEAM AND YOU HAVE TO WALK ABOUT 2 STAIRS TO GET ONTO PORCHES**

I couldn't have been happier with my stay. The house was adorable, the host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and the location was fantastic. We were able to walk downtown and to the Alamodome. The host was kind, responsive and helpful. An absolute 10/10.

Quaint and very clean place within walking distance of the Riverwalk, Alamodome, parks, historic areas, restaurants, etc. Even though it was extremely hot, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Nationals and family vacay

It’s nestled in an alley house is well kept and in a great location very quiet and nice. It is close enough to down town riverwalk and far enough for peace. The parking is kinda tight if you have a bigger vehicle it can be done but just a little snug. Would definitely go back and will be recommending to friends that way

Quaint House in the best location!

Billie Jo is extremely responsive to any issues. The location could not have been better. It's a walkable distance to the Downtown Riverwalk and so many restaurants in the Southtown neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, with lots of bath towels provided. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. My friend and I had an amazing time in San Antonio! I would definitely stay at Billie Jo's again.

Visiting the tower

Very close to downtown San Antonio. Had a great lunch at the tower and were within walking distance of the Alamo. Lots of shops all around and other places to eat out. There were four of us and we slept comfortably (including me who slept on the couch!). The kitchen and laundry facilities were a plus. We very much felt at home. Thanks for making this available.

Quiet & Cozy Cottage was Awesome!

We loved our stay and appreciated how easy it was to communicate with our host. We had just a few questions while we were there and each time the response was super quick and accommodating. It was clean, cozy and relaxing. Looking forward to coming again sometime! Just a couple of concerns: The shower curtain liner needed to be washed or replaced. Also, the bedroom window facing the main house needs a repair. But overall, it was a great place to stay!Thank you so much!

Clean home

This home was clean and a bit smaller than anticipated. There were adequate bath linens. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The handle was missing from the microwave.The driveway is a challenge as it is quite narrow- I am glad we drove my smaller SUV. My husband’s Tundra would not have fit.The property lists the main bedroom as having a queen-sized bed—the headboard was queen-sized but the mattress was a standard full and overly soft.I received an informative text approximately 1-1/2 hours prior to check in with clear instructions regarding how to find the property— this was quite helpful. However, attached to that text was a “Welcome” to Fiesta Alley that listed three conditions that would result in a 500 fine. While the conditions covered reasonable expectations, the wording was off-putting and thus NOT very welcoming. I have rented many vacation properties over the years and have never seen fines listed in a “Welcome” document. I suppose there had been problems with priors guests.I feel these conditions should have been included in the original VRBO listing under the “Policies” tab.

San Antonio cottage

This little house in San Antonio was one of my favorite properties I have stayed in over the years, it had so much charm and character. It was incredibly clean, well organized, and the beds were so comfortable (I slept great)! It is in a perfect location to downtown San Antonio, literally a 10 min walk to the River Walk and Convention Center. My teenagers and I went for a Pokémon Tournament at the Convention Center and I am hoping that they choose San Antonio for next year's tournament, if so we will be sure to stay at this house again!

The property was adorable and the owners were very helpful. Although we didn’t get to stay because our truck wouldn’t fit in their driveway, they were able to give us a refund. I am thankful they were able to help! Would definitely stay there another time in a smaller vehicle :)

Nice Clean Place to Stay!!

The property and owner Billie Jo were great. She was very understanding and accommodating to the situation we were in during our stay. One thing to note that I saw in reviews before arriving- drive way- although the alley way and drive is tight we noticed if you back up into the space it is a lot easier to get in and out. It is a tight space but you can fit a Tahoe in the drive with a little maneuvering as my BIL did it. The house was cute, clean and well equipped with towels, fans, kitchen items and even a Brita for cold water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe even given the fact that you were in the center of downtown. The one thing I will note, that is completely out of the owners hands, is the train that is in the area. It was not terribly loud in the living room or main bedroom, however if you are a lighter sleeper you will hear it in the twin bedroom towards the front of the house the most and it does run through the late night and early morning hours. Thank you again to Billie Jo for allowing us to stay and have a merry Christmas!

This property is located in Lavaca (Southtown) which is walkable to downtown and also King William. This property provides parking for anyojne coming out of town that wants to park their cars and take off on a walk or bike. We are very close to the Alamodome and Convention Center.
