There is new ownership with renovations, see pictures. Lake house has a flat spacious yard which is great for outdoor games and entry into the lake. Fire pit on site. Great view of one of the few islands in the Finger Lakes region, approximately a half mile from shore. View of Union Springs Marina to the North. Easy walk to village, grocery store and lakefront village park, all within 0.7 miles. Multiple wineries and breweries nearby. Long Point State Park is 9 miles away. Some of the best bass fishing in the finger lakes region. There is the village boat launch 0.7 miles away. There is a Pro Bass shop within 10 miles in Auburn Area.
Evening sunsets are spectacular. Kayak and canoe available. The 30 feet of lake frontage and water access comes with 40 foot dock. There is golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, boat rentals, paddle board rentals and kayak rentals near by as well.
The house has central air and heating, a big screened-in front porch with sleeping porch attached and deck.
The lake house sleeps 9. There is a double bed, a double pull out couch, a twin bed, trundle bed (twin top and bottom) and 2 more twin beds on the sleeping porch. Supply your own linens (bedding, bath towels and kitchen towels).

We totally enjoyed our stay here! We also stayed here 3 years ago, and the updates are wonderful. The location is amazing, as it is close to whatever you might need or want. My family and I loved the large yard and nice waterfront. Communication with the owners was great. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Spacious and clean. Needs a few amenities, i.e towels, toiletries, coffee, as most places do these days. But the view was lovely and the hosts were easy to work with.

Cayuga Lake vacation

The cottage is very spacious on a quiet loop with beautiful lake views, a dock, kayaks a lovely deck and a wonderful screen porch. . Very well stocked with everything we needed. My husband & I were there to be with family and the location was perfect for us!Julie and David are perfect hosts.

Spacious. The entire property is well maintained. Plenty of room indoors and lots of outdoor green space. Easy water access. Beautiful views and enjoyed the sunsets each night. It was a great time and hope to come back here again. Bonus! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Anniversary Getaway

Spent 3 days at this lovely cabin on Cayuga Lake. Great location and great views. Nice lake house! Loved the fire pit by the lake. Friendly, informative host!

This vacation was great except for weather and terrible fishing due to wind and rain. Really enjoyed our stay with our family. Great scenery and plenty of relaxing. Will do it again.

Tranquil setting

Amazing Rental Property!

My buddies and I were in town for a bass fishing tournament out of Union Springs. The house was very clean, a lot of space, and was an overall homerun! We hope to stay here every time we have a fishing tournament on Cayuga Lake. Thanks for letting us rent your amazing Lake House!

Great week

Great property on the water with dock access. very comfortable, with plenty of place both inside and out on the porch to relax. Has everything you need for a good week. The location was excellent. We were less than a mile from the Union springs boat launch, local grocery store, a pizza shop, and a small casino/gaming location. There was a great winery about a 1/4 mile down the road as well that sits up on a hill overlooking the lake. A great time.

Cayuga 2023

My husband and I took a 4 day trip to Cayuga to fish and go to the wineries. The cottage was very clean and spacious. We had a 20’ Bass boat that we were able to park in the driveway. The sunsets are amazing there. David was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions we had before & during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect property for a relax vacation

My family rented this property for a week to enjoy the peace and quite of the lake in August 2023. It was perfect for us. Comfortable access to the lake, plenty of space inside the house for a family of 10 including 6 adults and kids ages 2, 3, 4 and 10 yo, and a beautiful yard to play outside. It felt very safe letting little kids wander around. It takes a little planning to figure out where everyone will sleep since we are tall people and most beds are twin or full, but no one had any trouble sleeping and feeling rested. Plenty of space inside the house to set up a queen sized inflatable mattress if needed. Union springs is beautiful little town to. A grocery store around the corner that fully stocked with butcher for those grilled masters, two wineries near by to stock up on wine, and park with a playground. We are very pleased and plan to comeback next year.

Breathtaking Views

The lake house itself it not the most modern, and the kids almost died the first day without wifi (which secretly made me happy). But every single sunset siting on the swing in the porch made up for everything. The enormous yard is incredible (and rare around Cayuga lake properties). This place is great for kids, lots of area to roam around. Very convenient near a grocery store/gas station. The owner Fred happened to be around and was extremely kind and helpful. We will be returning here!

Family fun

The location was perfect for our annual family summer visit to NY. We rented this place knowing that it was a camp, but it was great for us. Lots of yard space and water frontage, and the house was large enough for our family. We had a plumbing issue, but it was taken care of in a timely manner.Thank you Fred for being a great host.

Amazing lakefront location

The owner was very responsive and helpful and the entire check-in process was easy and smooth. The view is also really nice. My only complaint was that the place was a bit stuffy inside, so if you have allergies, I would take that into consideration.

Sunset View Lake Cayuga

This was a beautiful location on the lakeshore with a huge lawn leading down to the lake, but the house itself needs updating & was not as clean as we had hoped. Had trouble operating the lockbox & doorknob to get it, but finally it worked. The owner was very helpful & friendly when we contacted him.

Union Springs, not Springport

Very convenient to Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake attractions. Excellent communication with the host. He allowed us to stay a couple of hours beyond checkout time when we were having car trouble on checkout day.

As advertised

Just what we needed. Great views very relaxing. Location is perfect for wine and breweries. House is outdated but we knew that going in. It was just my wife and I, and I pushed the two single beds together. We stayed on our own sides because one of the beds was slightly taller lol. We didn’t have to bother Fred very much but he was prompt in answering the few questions we had. A little tip: wait until you get there before you go to the grocery store for anything other than food. There were plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, foil, spices and laundry detergent left by previous guests. We left ours as well.

Yearly Visit

Every year we rent this property. We absolutely love it. It is super peaceful and not right on top of other properties. Close to so many places to visit. We had a great time. The only thing we suggest is wifi. The service is bad and it stormed one of the days and we couldn't even watch anything on our phones or do anything. Also one of the beds was missing so one of the girls had to sleep on the couch. No big deal though. We always love our stay!

Beautiful lake house

The lake house had all the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom amenities and the private dock was wonderful. No neighbors close by. There was a large screened in porch to relax in and eat in when it rained and we could still be outside and see the lake. Fred was a very responsive host and he answered all questions I messaged him promptly. Great value for the price.

Great location!
