Just what we needed

Our group was in town for a convention, and this home was perfect. Lots of bathrooms for everyone to get ready, a great gathering spot for us all to play cards at night, close to town, it was clean and comfortable for everyone, and the check in/out was very easy. Overall, it was great.

Excellent Home!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, and the neighborhood was beautiful. It was close to campus, and everything we wanted. We will definitely be back!

Great House but Needs TLC

This is a great house in a wonderful neighborhood. That being said the owners need to do a deep clean on this house. There was so much dirt, hair, trash under all the beds that I called to the property manager to get it cleaned. I spent about 1.5 hour wiping refrigerators, stairwell, and pantry. The pantry had open bags/expired items. The freezer bottom; bags of opened ice and various frozen veggies. Many items in the pantry were expired like flour, baking soda, etc. When I go to a VRBO I expect spices, sugar but not old cracker/cookies from some other renter. When the cleaning lady showed up, I had to argue with her boss about cleaning under the beds. It was kind of ridiculous. The lights in the bedroom fan upstairs didn't work and only one lamp worked in the room. The shower head in the master bath squirts out the sides--tricky shower taking. It needs replacing. The door knobs and locks are all old albeit charming. The downstairs door to the outside doesn't work; just twirls--thus the security bar that was propped against it. The front door interior is missing a knob; there is only a stub to turn. And the best was the upstairs bathroom locked itself shut. I sent a text to the property manager but no reply. We called a friend with a tool box to come and help. He got it opened. I also expect the fire pit area to be cleaned. My husband spent 45 mins spraying/wiping off the chairs and raking up the debris around the pit. We did enjoy the house but it needs TLC.

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood!

Well stocked home with plenty of room for family and friends to enjoy. Big back yard, wonderful bathrooms, great kitchen and living areas. Will definitely stay again!

Family Friendly Home

Booked this wonderful home for our daughter's graduation from Mizzou. The proximity to campus and the downtown area was fantastic. We loved the historic charm of the home with the modern interior decor. Very well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds! This house is wonderful for a large family gathering. Given the opportunity, would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous home!!

Our stay at this beautifully renovated home was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Columbia! Not only was the home clean and well appointed, but the host was accomadating and easy to work with. We were helping our daughter as she returned to college and moved into her first apartment. The downstairs apartment area was a perfect place for our two sons to spread out and enjoy a spot of their own, and the main level provided a perfect space for the family to commune. We all slept quite well, and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly neighbors and our early morning walks in this lovely neighborhood. The next time we're in the area, we will definitely stay at this vrbo!!

A true gem in Como!

This wonderfully historical home exudes such great warmth and character and is so perfectly located near downtown Columbia! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning for a Mizzou football game.

Wonderful weekend!

This house was perfect for our group of friends visiting Columbia for mom’s weekend at Mizzou. It was a clean, comfortable, and beautifully updated home. We had plenty of space for the six of us. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets, pillows and blankets. The four full bathrooms had plush towels and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was also well-stocked with all the essentials and more, including plenty of k-cups for the Keurig. Its location near campus was also very convenient for the events we attended. We truly enjoyed our time at this fantastic VRBO!

Great space, great visit

Seven members of my extended family had a great stay. The house is spacious, nicely updated, and in a charming block close to downtown. Our family particularly enjoyed the excellent bathrooms and comfortable common area.
