Had a lovely stay with my family. House was well stocked and very clean. Beautiful grounds as well. The host answered all our questions quickly. Eagle Ridge is a great place to stay with a family. We used the indoor- outdoor pool. Had a nice baby pool too!

Galena Fall Getaway

Great stay! Host was very responsive to messages and accommodating. House was clean, loved the scenery and quiet location. Especially liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Just an FYI, there are a lot of stairs and toilets were a bit short so if you have any elderly or disabled in your group this could be an issue. Otherwise I highly recommended!

Great Location in Galena Territory

We spent part of the holidays here to gather with family. It's a great location, convenient to the owner's club, highway 20, and downtown Galena. The home was clean, stocked with kitchen supplies, toiletries, etc. Would stay here again!

Fantastic weekend!

Stayed here with my sisters, my daughter and my niece! It was so relaxing! The screened-in porch is the perfect hang out spot. The home is close to shops and restaurants. Had such a great time!

Convenient to Galena

I stayed with family members for annual reunion. House was clean and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 7 of us to be comfortable. Close to Galena. Very happy with it.

Wonderful place for our family reunion. We walked a lot, went to Owners Club for pool, ping pong and billiards. Also, played lots of cards. Couldn’t find the charcoal but ended just using the gas grill. Great place!

Beautiful property

The property is great, with 4 bedrooms and each one with its own bathroom. My family was pretty comfortable and we were all able to get ready on time for my wedding. Kitchen is fully equipped. Plenty of spaces in the house to choose from to just sit down and relax.

Perfect Reading Retreat

This property was absolutely perfect for our Trashy Romance Reading Retreat. There were multiple places to lounge throughout the house itself including multiple bedrooms, an upper landing with cozy couches, sun porch, back porch, fire pit, and quite possibly the world’s softest living room couch. We were able to Bluetooth hook up to the main TV for PowerPoint night, and the huge kitchen table was perfect for all our reading-related crafting! There is a lookout point just up the street from the property to take a great group selfie overlooking the bluff! Wow, just exactly what we were looking for in this trip!

Property and location were fine; a couple things did not work in the house and let the owner know; we did not like the fact that we were only told 2 hours before check out the procedures to follow and the fact that we had to take the garbage miles to a dump ourselves - there should be a location on the property to dispose of the garbage and there should be some written instructions for check out posted on the property so we know ahead of time what the procedures are.

I have been coming up to Galena since I was a little girl and when I married and had my daughters, this was the place to come to with a few of my friends and their kids. We'd come up rent a home and stay for a few days to ski and lodge all weekend. When I prepared to buy a vacation home and started looking at summer destinations and then it occurred to me that it would be absolutely amazing to own a 4 seasons home in Galena. Just 2.5hrs away from Chicago because it would allow me to enjoy mini getaways while also being a superhost. My home is so cozy and inviting, from the time you drive up till you walk in it’s filled with character. Surrounded by woodland and gorgeous views while walking down the stairs at every level of the home. There is so much to do. Weather its golfing, swimming, boating, skiing or just enjoying the wonderful restaurants and bars in town, this place is a win win and I am totally committed to making your experience as delightful as mine was as a guest, it just makes sense.
