Welcome to Timbers Edge, a stellar vacation home nestled on a quiet street in the heart of The Galena Territory. Located a short distance from Downtown Galena and renowned wedding and event venues like Ashton Hill, Eagle Ridge, and Oak Hill Farm. This three-bedroom, three-bathroom all ensuites home is situated on a large lot with a wooded backdrop – offering an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

As you enter Timbers Edge, you’ll arrive on the 2nd floor of the home overlooking the open and spacious dining room, kitchen, and living room with a floor-to-ceiling feature fireplace. Grab a seat on the sectional sofa, build a fire, and cozy up with your family and friends while enjoying a movie or cocktails. Send the kids out to the three seasons/bonus room to play on the foosball table, board games, or watch their own movie. All TV’s are smart/Roku enabled, bring your own login to stream your favorite shows.

On the 2nd floor, you’ll find two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms; one bedroom has a queen bed and one has a king bed. The main level of the home has an additional bedroom also with an ensuite bathroom which can be accessed from the living space as well. This home sleeps 6 guests comfortably and up to 8 with the use of the Aerobed in the living room.

Timbers Edge is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen along with a gas grill so you can prepare meals with family and friends. Off the back of the house, you’ll find a large deck overlooking the backyard along with a firepit – perfect for s’mores on a cool evening. After a day of skiing or other outdoor activities, take a dip in the hot tub to warm up or ease the muscles.

This home is dog-friendly with a $150 dog fee; up to two dogs max allowed.

Please be advised that we do not have a Covid or weather cancellation policy; therefore, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip. You can easily purchase travel insurance after booking.

Absolutely immaculate and relaxing home

This property clearly has an outstanding team managing it - from making the reservation to arriving to the home, our experience was outstanding. What stood out most to us was walking into the home and sensing that it is incredibly well-cared for, from the furnishings to the cleanliness. Each bedroom suite is comfortable and private and the main spaces of the room allow for relaxed gatherings. Of course, the hot tub and fire pit area add to the charm of this property. Thank you for providing us such a lovely place to enjoy a holiday.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay at Timbers Edge was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy yet spacious cabin, the beautiful wooded surroundings, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend getaway for friends. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy fireplace and comfortable beds. The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a fantastic hot tub where we could unwind and take in the peaceful scenery. The location was perfect—just a short drive to downtown Galena, yet secluded enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. weekend get away

The property was cute and extremely clean upon arrival. The location was great as it was a short drive from several attractions in the Galena area. The bedrooms each had individual bathrooms which was nice. The house was cozy and the fireplace was perfect for relaxing during the cold evenings.

Cozy home with hot tub

All the little details made for a great stay. There were plenty of towels, coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, blankets, and pillows. Washer and dryer available for use. The hot tub was very nice and so relaxing. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect Little Getaway!

We absolutely loved our time in this beautiful, cozy home. It was the perfect getaway for our family to enjoy some peace and nature. Everything was readily available as if you were in the comforts of your own home. We will definitely be back for our annual Galena fall getaway.

Cute and Elegant

I’d never been to Eagle Ridge, But my son-in-law had and wanted us all to see it. The owners of the property are so gracious and accommodating. Very easy to communicate with. Even when the furnace wouldn’t work, they made sure there was state of the art portable heaters in every room. I would definitely recommend this property and these owners, and hope to rent there again.

Great getaway!

We booked this house last minute over Columbus Day weekend. Love that it is dog-friendly so our mini golden doodle could come with us and run around in the beautiful wooded yard. We all enjoyed the foosball table and curling up on the large comfy couch. Bedrooms were comfortable and heat easy to control with Nest thermostat. Loved the electric tea kettle. House was immaculate and host attentive. Prospective guests should note that the front door opens on the upstairs level and that the kitchen/living room are down a flight of stairs. Not a problem for us, just a note. Would stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely, clean house close to Galena

The house was great for our girls trip! It was clean, nicely decorated, and perfect for all eight of us ladies. Location is only 15 min. from downtown Galena. The granite countertops, full-size fridge, large dining table and bathrooms off each bedroom made our stay easy. Definitely recommend!

Clean, complete unit

This unit was very clean with all appliances described in listing. The Jacuzzi was amazing. Owner was very responsive and when we had questions about the Jacuzzi, he responded quickly and even stopped by to help us that meant a lot to us. The fire pit was very nice at night. Very clean, quiet neighborhood with quick access to the club that has amazing facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, gym, etc. Galena downtown was very close and great to visit.

What a gem

This home was so cute. My only regret was not taking a longer vacation, as we didn’t have enough time to use the hot tub. Perfect Get-a-way!

Timber’s Edge is a quaint little home offering top notch amenities. We loved that this VRBO was pet friendly, but super clean!!! The wood burning fireplace was super cozy and the hot tub was the showstopper for the teenagers. Brian, the property manager, was amazing at checking in and was always quick to respond with any questions. We loved that the property was located by Eagle Ridge Resort. We can’t wait to go back this summer to take advantage of the golf course, hiking trails, and lake.

Great getaway!

We loved staying here for a long weekend trip. The property was extremely clean, close promixity to town but far enough to enjoy the quiet. Communication with the property manager was a breeze and everything listed was accurate. Definitely would come back again!
