This beautiful log cabin, with gorgeous pine flooring is the star of the area with modern upgrades. Relax outside on the porch, in the jacuzzi, or around the fire pit with a glass of complementary wine. Pike's Peak has a fully stocked kitchen to prepare full meals for the family. This beautifully cabin is located in a picturesque setting, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening on the front porch, or grilling on the charcoal grill. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Sleeping arrangements include:
1 King in Primary
1 Queen in Bedroom
1 Queen in Loft
1 Queen Sleeper Sofa

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountain Range. Rustic Star sits in a quiet area between Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. An hour and a half from Downtown Atlanta, 45 mins from Columbus, Ga (home of Ft. Moore) and Auburn, AL.

We are a privately owned home and are not part of the Mountain Top Inn and Resorts. Therefore, our guests do not have access to their amenities such as: the swimming pool any other common areas.

The host was very attentive and accommodating but the cabin itself in need of deep cleaning and TLC. Many spider webs, dead bugs on window sills, bed linens were very worn and thin and comforter was dingy, faded and torn. Sofas very uncomfortable and worn flat cushions. Kitchen very poorly lit. Needs more lights definitely. Decent appliances but no dishwasher which is no big deal. Well equipped otherwise. Beware of porch steps as the bottom step is very narrow and easy to misstep. Host very nice and replaced mattress after the first night of a very uncomfortable night and had the fridge stocked with drinks which was very nice. I think to keep this property appealing it needs deep cleaning and refreshing and updated bed linens, pillows etc and decent sofas. The cobwebs everywhere should be addressed and an additional light in kitchen would help brighten the dinginess.

Great location, cabin had everything except lighter for grill. Very spacious 3 beds & let out sofa. We will stay here again! Very clean! We enjoyed our stay! Kids loved hot tub & pet Friendly!

Very nice cabin and sweet responsive hosts. Clean and well-stocked plus pretty horse-themed decor. Hot tub was great. Close to hiking in FDR park and Callaway gardens. Very comfortable for our 6 guests and dog.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pikes Peak! Check in was a breeze and the cabin had everything we needed for our stay. I love the location, quiet with a short drive to town. Most of our trip was spent at the cabin enjoying the fireplace, relaxing on the porch and in the hot tub! I highly recommend Pikes Peak!!

Callaway getaway

Cabin was just like it was described. Although other houses were close, it was a quiet area. Highlight had to be relaxing in the hot tub after long days of Calloway Garden activities.

Easter weekend

Needed a place to spend our Easter holiday as a family. Our daughter is in college in Alabama and we’re in Florida so this was the perfect in between for us so we could spend time together.Lots to do in the area and great hiking, which is a big plus with my crew.

Just what we needed!

The cabin met our expectations and provided a wonderful, relaxing weekend to explore the area. We really enjoyed visiting the Little White House and it was more than we anticipated, which was a nice surprise.The cabin owner was very responsive to questions prior to arrival and we had no issues at all during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The cabin is exactly what you would want for an intimate stay among the Georgia Pines. So close to Callaway Gardens, we were able to go biking daily and enjoy the other sites in the area. The Hosts are uber responsive to any inquiries. We will return. B

We got to the cabin and inside waiting for us were 2 huge dead cockroaches and 2 medium size live ones running all over the kitchen. The place had poor lighting and everything was dusty with cobwebs hanging off the ceilings. The floor was very dirty, especially under the beds. There was no disclaimer that there will be No Internet Service. We had a person come over in the morning to fix it and he only restarted the modem. Said the trees were blocking the signal. Internet worked ok for 1 hour after my husband used his phone as a hotspot and then again no service. Kids could not watch cartoons. We could not watch Netflix. Someone was supposed to come to spray the insects but noone ever did. Last day there I even stepped on a live scorpion in the kitchen by the sink. The sleeping situation was not any better. You could hear every little noise coming from upstairs and there were huge cracks in the floorboards so you can see all the light coming through. On top of that one of the plastic chairs outside around the fireplace was broken. We found out the hard way after my child who is special needs almost fell out. The firewood left outside for the fire was also rotten and soaked wet and we had to use our own money to purchase dry firewood. Overall not worth almost $1000 we paid for this place for only 3 nights. We left very disappointed.

This cabin is just beautiful. From the the time you walk in the door you feel like you are home. The bottle of wine was super sweet. The bed were comfortable & loved the hot tub. Everything you need is there for you. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality it was appreciated.
