Heart of Columbus- Private Parking & Yard

Our charming 2-story home is located in Victorian Village, a very walkable area from Short North, Ohio State University, and Downtown Columbus! From your doorstep, you can walk to dozens of great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and retail stores.
The space
If you love being in the heart of everything, but also like having a place to get away for rest and relaxation, this is the place for you. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The main level features the living room, full kitchen, and half bath with walk out fenced in backyard. The kitchen is stocked with cookware to cook simple meals, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup or pot of coffee in the morning (K-Cups/coffee provided as well as tea). The living room has a comfortable couch and a smart TV for you to log into your accounts (no cable). The home features large windows allowing for a lot of natural sunlight and tall ceilings help make your stay comfortable. Relax or get a breath of fresh air from the front porch on a rocking chair or the back deck.

The 2nd floor has 2 large bedrooms and a full bathroom. Each bedroom features a comfortable Queen-sized bed (with a twin size pullout underneath) and a desk workspace. The bathroom features a shower/tub.

We provide high speed Internet throughout the house.
Guest access
The home has free private off-street parking for 2 vehicles in the back of the house. Guests have access to the entire house except for the locked basement and 1 linen closets. These are used for storage only.

Heart of Columbus was an excellent rental. The proximity to OSU Medical Center, dog friendly, and 1st floor bathroom met our needs. We traveled 15 hours to stay here due to a medical emergency with family.Upon arrival, the house was clean and inviting. Our dogs were cozy and at ease; the backyard was a triple bonus for this stay.

Great location. Charming home close to restaurants( a short drive or even walk). Our little Boston Terrier was with us, the home was very pet friendly. Ample parking space behind the house for our SUV.

Very nice home.. spacious and comfortable! Rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Small fenced in yard was perfect for our pet.

Nice home in a great location and safe neighborhood. Hosts were responsive and helpful. It comfortably sleeps 4 but gets tight with the pull out beds (cots) if you needed a couple more people. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Adorable historic neighborhood. Prevent parking and fenced in yard space was very valuable. House was decorated very well. Some furniture was stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Lap blankets in the living room were just tossed in a pile into the baskets. Description said there would be sheets and pillows for the twin beds but they were missing when we arrived. Also found underwear and some melted sticky substance in the closet. Owner communicated that it would be cleaned up and sheets/pillows were going to be delivered. Cleaning was done but no sheets or pillows. Also no dishwashing soap so we had to hand wash everything. Owner was not local so could not help with these things. Toilet in the downstairs bathroom ran constantly. Window Air conditioning units in the bedrooms were nice. Some of the silverware and dishes were dirty. Very cute old house but cleanliness and lack of sheets/pillows were disappointing. I think it’s just in need of a little more attention.

OSU Graduation Stay a huge success!

We had a great time celebrating the OSU graduation! This place was in an idea location! Very convenient to the campus, restaurants, and everything! The owner was very good with responding to questions! We were delighted with out stay!!

Great get away

We enjoyed this quick getaway that allowed us to bring our dogs. We were able to visit the zoo during the day, but be around fantastic character and great restaurants afterwards. The off street parking is a must & we appreciated the flood lights and signage to give us the extra feeling our car would be safe. Thank you! We will be back next time we are in town.
