Beachfront Casa Mar de Grecia- Private beach

Casa Mar de Grecia welcomes you to a tropical paradise. 3 bedroom and 4 bathroom beachfront house located in a small private gated community called Punta del Burro with its private beach, 24/7 security and beautiful streets surrounded by flowers in the most typical Mexican style. The beach is just across the street, just a few steps away. The house is fully equipped, with a heated pool, a private garage, Wi-Fi and 2 to 3 days of housekeeping is included. Cooking services, meal delivery, private chefs, chauffeurs, car services, tours, massages and more can be booked at an extra cost when reservation is confirmed.

Casa Mar de Grecia is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or family vacation. We recommend renting a car for your stay. Located 5 minutes from Punta de Mita, known for its beaches, restaurants, golf and more; 15 minutes from Sayulita, known for its beaches, surfing, culture and colors; also close to La Cruz, Bucerias and about 40 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport.

The house also has a kayak, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and vests for some fun days at the beach. The best activities near the house are taking some surfing lessons (surf school and board rentals are about 2 minutes from the house by car or in Punta de Mita), going paddle boarding, and hiking to the famous “cerro del mono” also a few minutes by car from the house. Punta de Mita is also known for its FANTASTIC dining options and many food styles (Italian, steakhouse, seafood, french, japanese, spanish, chinese, fusion, mexican, grill).

Great Spring Break

Nice getaway for my family. We had a great week at the house. Ivan took care of every logistical item and Matilde was a fantastic chef. She made superior breakfast and dinner each day we were there. We loved her food and her hospitality. The house is three minute walk to the surf break and we took advantage of the beautiful setting every day. Thank you!

We had a lovely family vacation at Casa mar de Grecia! Pablo and Matilde were very friendly, helpful and responsive to messages! We enjoyed the A/C and the heated pool. Playa Destiladeras (need 100mex to park) and Lancha (park at Oxxo) were within 10 min drives and they were fantastic!The house has quality beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and kayaks for guest use!The property was extremely safe and secure. The locked parking garage was a bonus - note: A full sized SUV or truck will not fit. The ocean across the street is not swimmable due to big rocks/coral; you can easily walk down the beach 5 min to swim in front of a resort. We cooked most meals and were happy with appliances and how well the kitchen was equipped. All bedrooms were large, the primary has a great patio with nice views. The secondary rooms don’t really have views. The top balcony was fantastic for daily whale watching. The main and 2nd levels have a partial view of the ocean, the house across the street obstructs much of the ocean view. Unfortunately during our stay, there was construction next door from 9-5 every weekday. Relaxing during the day at the casa was difficult with constant jack hammering, sawing and banging. We understand that there is nothing the owners could do. We mentioned the construction to Gracia near the end of our stay, she was very responsive and would have tried to accommodate us in a near property.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, highly recommend Gracias Property.

Absolute Gem!!

We stayed for 2 weeks Feb 2025. The property manager Grecia was responsive to our messages and answered all our questions. Pablo, our concierge was waiting when we arrived and assisted us with parking our huge rental Chev Suburban. Neither of the 2 garage spaces could fully accommodate this vehicle and we had to leave the garage gates open as the tail end stuck out. This was a little worrisome as the gates stuck out a little and we worried that someone might hit them but it was fine! Pablo was fantastic, he was very helpful and very responsive to our questions during our stay. He even brought over an English Roku so we could watch the Super Bowl in English! Matilda was also fantastic and kept our accommodations clean and tidy! We rarely were in the home except to cook and sleep. All of the bedrooms have Smart TV's and we could sign in our Prime or Netflix accounts for evening TV. The AC in one room was on the fritz but Pablo had a repairman over and was he was able to accommodate 2 of our guests in the neighboring suite until he could arrange a repair. The outdoor patio with heated pool were heaven! I've never stayed in a VRBO with so many outdoor seating options. Plenty of table seating, lots of sun recliners and 2 large day beds. There were also lots of beach chairs, paddle boards etc. for use. The view from the patio was fantastic or we could take 20 steps or so and be on the beach and enjoy amazing whale watching views from there. Highly recommend!

Visited with my family, including 3 small kids. Pros: Beautiful spot.Easy access to beach.Kids loved the pool.Great communication. Three stories with multiple decks and spots to chill.Matilde was great, highly recommend at least one home cooked meal from her. The beach is beautiful, and for surfers, like my son and I, Burros is right down the beach (about a mile walk)Cons:The house is actually across the street from the beach with partial view, (blocked by the beachfront house across the street). So sitting out at the pool, you’re looking at the back wall of the house on the beach. AC is only in rooms, not the full house.Little bit rundown and funkier than it appears in the pictures, but still nice. Power went out multiple times and very little hot water. Not as clean as I would’ve liked upon arrival. Overall we had a blast, and at the appropriate price point, this would be a great more economical stay, but for what we paid, we expected more.

Your stay was during June, when the first rains of the season arrived. Unfortunately, the power outages you experienced affected the entire area and were caused by weather related issues beyond our control. Fortunately, these interruptions are usually temporary. Regarding the hot water, the house does have hot water throughout. There was one day when water service was interrupted, and we are already evaluating upgrading the pump to improve water pressure and ensure an even better experience for future guests. As for the view, we always strive to represent the property accurately. The home is located directly across from the beach with easy beach access and partial ocean views, which can be seen in the listing photos. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving, and we’re delighted to know that despite these inconveniences, your family had a wonderful time. We would love to welcome you back in the future.
