Incredible views and a lovely home!
What a lovely property! And a perfect house for a big group! Our group of six adults and five children under five had a delightful week at Barnard House.
The layout of the home was perfect for us. The utter peace and beauty of the marsh view gave us such a feeling of tranquility. The Shoal's Club facilities and restaurant, along with the private beach entrance on East Beach, were quite convenient. And we loved biking and exploring Middle Island.
Our only suggestion is that the owners purchase a new high chair or booster. We had 2 babies under 14 months. The booster provided was not really functional; it was old, and we were concerned about its safety.
As always, the staff at Wendy Wilmot Properties was incredibly responsive and helpful. We are very grateful to them.

Not Perfect, But Pretty Close
I spoke to Wendy about our stay but forgot a few things. First, there was little shade on the back deck. I had to get an umbrella from our home to sit at the table. Second, the ceiling fan in the alcove from the second floor suite with a king bed was creaking so much, we turned the fan off -- afraid that it would fall. Third -- and just a comment -- the closets didn't allow for hanging dresses, etc. Best, Mike

This was our second time renting Barnard House through Wendy Wilmot Properties & like the first time we found the house to be very comfortable for our entire family and I can’t say enough about the view; unobstructed across tidal creeks all the way to the ocean.
In addition I have always found the staff & service of Wendy Wilmot Properties to be excellent!
I can unreservedly recommend both Barnard House & Wendy Wilmot Properties!
