La Place du Village - Two Story Condo

Come unwind in La Place du Village. Located less than 5 minutes away from the centre of Magog, less than 10 minutes away from Orford National Park, and a short walk away from la Plage des Cantons, one of the area's busiest beaches. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, it does not matter. The Eastern Townships will keep you busy all year long and with just a short drive from the main cities, this is the perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle that comes with every day life.


The Space

Cozy and sleeps up to six people, this vacation rental has everything you need. This 2-floor unit is on the second storey of the building, which gives that feel of a townhome-cottage. One bedroom has a view of Mont-Orford and the other bedroom has a view of Lac Memphremagog in the horizon.

Sleeping arrangements: King bed and Queen bed in the bedrooms. Queen sofa bed on the main floor and we promise you we did not neglect comfort in the sofa bed.

Kitchen is fully stocked with basic appliances and has a coffee bar. The open concept main floor allows for full engagement between people in living room and the kitchen.

There are two parking spaces and visitor parking spaces. If carpooling is possible, help save our World one car at a time and limit the amount of cars you bring.

This condo complex is located 5 minutes away from the center of the town of Magog and 10 minutes away from Orford National Park. The community in which we are placed has a lot of short term rentals so you are in a little community of visitors.

It is recommended to have a car to get around. Most things are a short drive away but not exactly walkable.

Our digital guidebook will help you prepare your stay in Magog from the moment you book.

Late checkouts will be charged $50 as our cleaning team works on a very precise schedule.

We had a great stay. The accommodations were spacious and very clean. We had everything we needed and our hosts set up a guestbook that was informative about the property and surrounding area. We also loved the location as it was adjacent to the local bike/walking paths. Will stay here again when visiting Magog.

Property listing was completely accurate, and everything about the condo was exactly as described. My husband and I just stayed 9 days here, and we could not be more pleased with our stay! The location is perfect, accommodations lovely, kitchen very well equipped with everything we needed for this extended stay. It was a real bonus to have washer and dryer in the unit. Communication with the owner (John) was exceptional. He also provdes a digital guidebook of the property which contains detailed instructions regarding location and use of various items, such as TV and washer and dryer. Check in was a breeze! We highly recommend this property!

The place was clean and well stocked, bed/bedding was very comfortable (only slept in Queen sized bed), everything worked as expected - no issues. Great proximity to the beach, complex felt very safe, nice outdoor patio to enjoy too. We walked to the Marais Interpretation Centre and walked the entire Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises trail that ended in town. The walk was a highlight for sure, was fantastic! We will bring our bikes next time as there were nice bike trails/paths everywhere! We highly recommend this condo.

Lovely place

It was a wonderful place for a get away. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. It was a nice quiet area. The apartment was clean, neat and had a very nice layout. We would visit again if in the area! Thanks for a great visit!

Two day stay

We had a lovely 2 day stay here and enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the amount of space the condo provided for our family of 4. We skiied at Orford and it was a 10 minute drive to the hill We enjoyed the coffee bar, John and Lisa were great with communication and replied to us within seconds if we had any questions. We would have liked to stay longer and if we come back we will book this place again,

Wonderful Rental

We came for a weekend stay and had a fabulous time. The condo is exactly as listed with beautiful decor and all the finishing touches, soaps, toiletries etc. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the bed and linens were comfortable and luxurious. The neighborhood was quiet. Short walk to a beach, 5 minute drive to everything else. Communication with the owner was fantastic. They have a very easy to use checkin system and loads of clear instructions for just about everything in the unit. We highly recommend this property! Thank you.

Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved this apartment! We come to Magog once a year to visit family and having a family myself, it gets tricky and expensive to stay in hotels. This spot was absolutely perfect for us. When we arrived, we noticed how clean the place was which is a major upside. We had all the amenities and supplies that a family needs and more! Plenty of towels, washcloths, and all toiletries supplied were a plus! There was even adequate baby/toddler items that were incredibly helpful and very much appreciated, like a crib, booster chair, dinnerware, etc. Very happy about that! We were very comfortable and if we had any questions, we were answered promptly. I also loved the online guide. The instructions were easy, helpful and also gave some great recommendations. We will definitely be staying here in the future. Thank you!!

Excellent

We arrived a little early so I made a quick call to John. After a check to be sure everything was ready he updated the entry code and we were able to settle in. // Very nice space, with all we needed. Comfortable seating, inside and outdoors on the deck. // The location is very near the bike/pedestrian paths/beach, and a short drive to downtown Magog with lots of shops and eateries. // I called John again on the second evening when there was a bit of an issue with the AC and he picked up right away and was responsive to our concern. // If you don't have your own bikes there's a place to rent them close by, which John told us about. They have kayaks and SUP boards to rent as well.

Un bon coin de vacances

Tous nos besoins ont été comblés. Une seule déception cependant : la chasse d'eau du petit cabinet de toilette est extrêmement et étrangement bruyante. Pour le reste, le confort répondait à nos attentes. Merci beaucoup.

Wow ! Petit sejour parfait. Aucun regret d'avoir choisi cet endroit. Jy retournerais sans hesiter. De plus, vraiment facile et belle explication avec video etc. Seul petit point négatif peut-être , pour une famille de 6 personnes il y avait seulement 4 serviettes, et pas assez de papiers de toilette !! Heureurement j'avais eu l'idee d'en apporter, une chance . Le savon de salle de bain avait seulement un fond dedans , donc ne pas oublier d'apporter de plus de la maison pour pas être mal pris. Ne pas hesiter, belle place. Beau et propre.
