Lake Chelan Lookout

We absolutely loved our stay her. The home was exactly as listed & spotless, amazing location. We cooked a big dinner one of the nights and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed and walked to dinner other evenings. We loved having access to all the amenities of the community and will absolutely be back.

Fun time at the lookout

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Lookout properties. This wasn’t our first time. However this particular property was definitely overused. The tables and chairs on the deck are falling apart. The table in the house is wobbly. The walls in the bunk room are dirty and there were stains on the comforters. The home feels tired. The other properties we have stayed at are in better condition. We did enjoy the size of the house. The rest of the experience is top notch h though. The communication with the property management was great. The hot tub wasn’t hot and they had someone out immediately the next morning. The lookout park is amazing. We’ll be back again. Just will pick a different property.

Will return!

We had an amazing long weekend at Wine Down in The Lookout neighborhood. I can’t wait to return with more friends or with my family and kiddos. It’s a great neighborhood for any group. We loved that they had their own boat marina with rentals available. The house was beautiful, clean, and lots of space to spread out and enjoy. We loved all the outdoor living spaces. Can’t wait to be back!

Great home for family getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has a great layout and suited our extended family well. Location was perfect for us - short walk to vineyard pool and small playground. The home was missing a couple essentials (baking sheet and strainer) and lots of the doors squeaked when opening. Would also suggest a childproof lock in the bunk room since there is an exterior door. Overall would stay here again!

The house is a great family home with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The highlight for the kids was the awesome bunkbed room – not only was it fun, but the beds were surprisingly comfortable, which made for happy campers all around. The location is perfect, with a short, easy walk to the pool, which was a huge hit with the family. We spent hours there every day! The kitchen was well-equipped for most of our needs, though it could use a few baking sheets and a strainer for those who love to cook or bake.Overall, this place is a winner! We had a blast, and the minor kitchen quibbles didn’t detract from the amazing experience. Highly recommend for families looking for a cozy, convenient, and fun home base!

Perfect summer getaway!

We came to “Wine Down” with a group of friends and our kids to kick off the summer, and we loved this house! The Lookout resort team were all amazing and any questions or assistance we needed were promptly addressed. The whole community is built for fun and ease of use. The house itself was perfect for our group and in a great location. The kids had a blast riding bikes, going to the pool and beach and playing in the bunk room. Us adults loved the spacious deck area where we enjoyed the view and the company. We will definitely be back!

Clean and Spacious

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great space with plenty of room for our family of 7. Loved that the hot tub was ready and that we had access to a grill and fire pit. We had only a few very small complaints: 1) trash can in kitchen was very tiny and needed to be taken out daily, 2) no recycling bin in kitchen 3) door on the upstairs master bathroom doesn't quite close.

A lovely stay in Wine Down

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our group had a short but lovely stay. There were a few minor issues that could make future stays a little easier: adding a baking pan to the kitchen supplies and replacing the coffee maker. There was a little ant issue in the kitchen when we got there but the property manager came out immediately to deal with it which was great. It is a very well-maintained house: the bathrooms were well stocked with towels, the beds comfortable, and the house really close to the pool! The house doesn't have a direct lake view but you get a pretty mountain vista and we got a few beautiful rainbows!

Wine Down @ The Outlook

Was a nice family get away - still lots of construction on new homes directly across from the back driveway and with a 5 bedroom house - providing only 3 parking passes was a little hard. One family had to park in overflow - which is quite far from the house. Worked out and the staff was very responsive and everyone very pleasant. There were a few cleaning, WIFI issues - but were resolved.

Perfectly Appointed And Very Comfortable

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying in this home, with multiple generations and family connections. The gathering space and kitchen area is perfectly appointed. Everything we could think of was there. I also appreciated the text reminder of events and things happening around the community during our stay. It was also so nice to hear from the property manager that they found something we left behind. And the portal to get that delivered to us was very easy to use. Great attention to detail!

A beautiful new home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is practically brand new with quality furniture and is fully packed with just about everything you'll need for your vacation. Although, in our case, we happened to run out of garbage bags due to there being 6 kids which generate tons of trash but we were able to manage. It's so new that there was still construction going on for other homes across the street but it didn't really bother us. The EV charger is great and the wifi was fast although it did require a rebooting of the router which could only be done by flipping the breaker since it seemed to be locked away in a closet. Despite the minor hiccups, it was overall it was a great stay.

Definitely going back

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The wine down is a great house to stay n for large families. You can’t hear anything from downstairs and barely anything from upstairs while on main floor. Super good for me with teenagers we put all the boys downstairs and didn’t hear a thing at night. Beds super comfortable great place overall. The only thing that was missing was in the kitchen. The house hosts up to 16 people yet the pots, baking dishes and mixing/serving bowls are so small so I found myself using twice as much dishes and cooking things twice or three times. Also no potatoes masher and the cheese grater belongs in a doll house. I will definitely bring some of my own kitchen stuff next time but overall this house is great and on a corner lot so not so close to other houses.

Large Extended Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house the last week in July 2026. Unfortunately, the oven did not work the whole week. Maintenance did come out Mon, Tues, Wed, and finally decided to order a part, which did not arrive before we left. It was very frustrating and difficult not to be able to use the oven the whole week. The propane tank was low, and they did replace that immediately, so we could at least cook our main course at the house. Luckily, we had rented 2 other houses nearby for family, so we could use their ovens, but not ideal carrying food back and forth. Also, we couldn't find any baking sheets and some other large bowls/pots & pans that would have been nice for a house that size. I did find some sharp knives hidden in a drawer the night before we left. The porch furniture could also use some repairs or replacement. It was a good size house and laid out nicely for a 3-generation family, being able to have the 4 younger boys' downstairs. It was a good location for us, being by the vineyard pool and having the shuttle be able to take us easily to the lake. It was nice having 3 large houses in close proximity. The week was great otherwise, except for the smoke that finally came in to stay Saturday night and ash all over the deck on Sunday as we were leaving. A long drive home as 97 was closed and we could either go Hwy 2 (which we saw was bottlenecked because of the closures) or drive through Vantage, which was significantly out of our way. Obviously, this was not the fault of the resort! I would recommend this house as long as the oven was working and the porch furniture repaired or replaced.

By far the cleanest rental house I have ever stayed in. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of pans and utensils! Such a great stay. We will definitely come back. The room I slept in got very warm and with the thermostat unable to go below 70 degrees I didn't get the best sleep but I heard all other rooms stayed very cool!

Girls Wine Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Wine Down house was perfect for our girls weekend. The property was clean and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. The house was exactly as presented in the photos. Mara, with the front office, was very helpful with any questions I had prior to our arrival. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink, but after a call to the office, Larry with maintenance, arrived and quickly fixed the problem. All 10 of us ladies agreed that we would stay here again.
