This is the perfect place to stay while exploring the southern part of the Black Hills and Custer State Park. Second time at this property this summer—the place is immaculate, beautiful and peaceful. the host is the best I’ve experienced.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood! We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, comfortable home! Very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed! We would stay again and will recommend to others!!

Great stay

We absolutely loved staying at this property! Every detail was so well thought out and we could tell the owner takes a lot of pride and care in this house. It truly felt like a coming home every night after long days of exploring the black hills! We would definitely stay here again!

This property is exceptional! It fit our needs perfectly. Well-equipped, clean, roomy, and so welcoming to come "home" to. We would stay here again. Loved it!

Good accomodations

Everything was good. Loved the patio. Would recommend at least one chair that sits a little higher. All the chairs were comfy but sit low - hard for old kneesr to get out of! Loved the kitchsy decor.

Perfect place to stay

Everything from communication to the stay itself was perfect. We were welcomed to a spotless house with a nice fresh loaf of bread. The hosts had everything we could have needed on hand and in abundance - they thought of everything. The house was a treasure and we spent every day finding new things to marvel over though out the house. The piano and guitar were really fun additions for us to play around with and the property was well manicured and felt safe and private. We wish we had been in town for more days and will absolutely book this spot again when we travel to see our son. Many thanks to the family that clearly cares for the house/property as it shows throughout.

Great stay!

Was a great place to stay for our family. We were able to have family from area and visiting from out of State over and had great space for kids to play. Lots of wildlife outside to watch. Overall, great experience.

Girls Trip Getaway

A group of girlfriends got together to go to Moccasin Springs in Hot Springs. The house was perfect for a girls trip. The house was eclectic and fun. The house was VERY clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Week-long stay with three generations of family.

This is our second year staying here. The kitchen is well outfitted which is good because we like to cook. There's plenty of space to spread out both inside and outside. There's a surprising number of things to do in Hot Springs. You do need to plan ahead though because things are closed on various days. The one time we needed to contact the host, they replied immediately. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect

We came to visit my dad and just have a place to hang out for a few days as a family. The house couldn’t have been better. It was clean and in good repair. It is pretty and had everything needed to cook meals in and hang out with our elderly father.

Absolutely Wonderful Home!

We felt completely at home and well cared for in this rental home! It is completely stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Hot Springs. We found new nooks and crannies every turn we made, with games and toys and cooking dishes and supplies for cooking anything you’d like to make- absolutely full of supplies. We felt like we were staying in someone’s home, there are even condiments and some very yummy bread for guests (I need the recipe!). We will absolutely stay here again and can’t wait until next time. Thanks for making our vacation so homey and fun!!

Fantastic Place in Hot Springs!

This house is off the main road just enough to not hear traffic. The ravine in the backyard made a beautiful backdrop for the well-kept yard. The back yard has two covered seating areas. Very please any time of day. The house has two family rooms and a piano in the transition area into the front room. There were tables and chairs in a closet which we used for games and puzzles. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make meals. Did a lot of cooking. The bedrooms are separated which is good for privacy and snorers. The only "complaint" that we had was that the upstairs had a window air conditioner that was very loud so we ran it for a few hours before bedtime and it got warm towards morning. We tried sleeping with the windows open but the screens let in the mosquitos. Very nicely decorated. Three toilets. Highly recommended property. We had no interactions with the hosts other than a message that they would be mowing.

Such a Sweet Place to Stay!

My daughter had her wedding at a nearby park and we used The Nest as a place to put up our family and guests for the event (and I stayed there the first night with my son as well). It is so cute and well appointed, the hosts, Sadie and Keith, truly have done everything to make you feel at home, from the cookies and handwritten note card on the counter to the farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator, to the quiet and comfortable areas throughout the home that make you feel at rest and give room for a good sized family or group of friends all to have their own space, it was a special and truly perfect experience for us. The hosts were also so responsive (we thought the electronic lock was not working correctly--turned out to be our mistake) and immediately reached out to us to help when we asked for it. They were very kind and sweet (and understanding--when we mistakenly took a turn table off the dining room table because I thought it was part of the wedding cake platter) and did everything they could to make our time there pleasant, comfortable and worry free. We couldn't have been happier with our stay, and recommend The Nest to you whole-heartedly!

Hot Springs hideaway

Our family of 6 wanted a central location to explore the Hot Springs area. This property was perfect. Very clean, quaint, and comfortable. It is located on a very quiet street with a very peaceful back yard and porch for relaxing. So glad we found this!
