Welcome to Mosaic! A collection of boutique cabins nestled in the heart of the Hill Country. With all of this peace and quiet it's hard to believe you're just 12 minutes from Texas State University, downtown San Marcos and the San Marcos River. We hope the blanket of stars at night and the stillness of the Hill Country leaves you feeling rejuvenated and content.

The lookout has been updated! We just installed a vintage clawfoot tub with w/ a shower head attachment.
We are tucked away in the Hill Country, surrounded by dense forest and a blanket of stars at night. These boutique stays are perfect for anyone who wants all the privacy of the outdoors coupled with the convenience of being close to town.

Quiet Getaway

This is a perfect-off the beaten path getaway. It is close enough to the city to enjoy its conveniences but just far enough away to feel you’ve escaped. The house was eclectic and comfortable. We loved opening the doors and listening to the birds. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Sweet and Simple

My friends and I (all females) felt very comfortable at the Mosaic. Everything was already inside the rental that we needed to cook, also has the cutest spot to build a small campfire which we fell in love with. There is nothing negative that we can say about our stay, the hosts were very informative and communicative. We had such a great time during our stay! Definitely will be coming back on our next vacation.

The communication with owner was great! I do wish there was extra blankets or pillows. The place was minimal but the price matched what you got. There was no TV which we didn’t realize but that was our fault for not paying attention to the description and amenities.

Three years ago, we embarked on a journey to create a place where everyone is welcome regardless of the shape of the road that led you or the destination that lies ahead. The work of staying the course has rarely been easy but it has always been good.

As a family we strive to keep Love at the very center of our life, love for ourselves, each other and for those we have been given the privilege to care for- for however long that may be. Our hope is that we may share a small piece of the home we have found in each other, with you.
