Just steps from the sea you can enjoy it for: swim, fish and snorkel.. The snorkeling and fishing at the property are excellent.

The island is not touristy at all and is very laid back. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and not crowded and the people are very helpful and kind- easy to make instant friends.

**Our paths to get to the cabin are sometimes muddy if there is more and rocky like many paths that you find in Eleuthera.We recommend renting an SUV as a vehicle, for the more difficult paths you will find to explore the beautiful beaches of Eleuthera.

SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY;
Unlike the 95% of rental properties that are owned by foreigners, this property is owned by the Dean family who are local Bahamians. So the funds you are spending goes right back into the local economy versus being wired to some foreign bank account which we think is pretty darn awesome.

********Just a quick note to let you know before your arrival that we are not selling any of our land and are not interested in investors. This is generational land that is passed down from generation to generation. Thank you for your understanding.****

IMPORTANT : Our cabin is OFF THE GRID,, All our amenities run on solar power….AND WE HAVE A QUIET BACK-UP GENERATOR.

**** YES WE HAVE A A/C *******We strongly recommend using the air conditioning from sunset until early morning.

- eco conscious traveling isn’t for everyone

,..PLEASE NOTE We have HOT water now, for a nice hot shower.
We operate with rainwater recovery tanks.


*** if the weather is without sun for a few days, it will be necessary to adjust the electricity consumption until the sun returns.**** But we have the GENERATOR which takes over when the solar system is insufficient. For the air conditioning the generator must work. Because it requires too much consumption for the solar panels, we therefore recommend using it for the evening and at night for better comfort. Because during the day you will not need it because there is an excellent breeze and you will probably be exploring and discovering the wonderful beaches that the island has to offer.

**Property is 100% off grid with photovoltaics and rain catchment which provides a much more reliable source than the public utility here on island. Guests are asked to please keep this in mind and be conservative in their use.

the cabin is simply a simple shack on the beach and off the grid , and not a chain hotel. We our dedicated to making you feel at home in the jungle and providing a unique and unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a daily hThousekeeping service, guilt free water waste or just a place to sleep and store your 6 large rolling suitcases we highly suggest looking for a regular hotel.

Eleuthera has 3 airports We are located on Queens Highway about 15 minutes from Governors Harbour airport and about 30 minutes from North Elethera airport.

We offer the shuttle service between the airport and Eden Place at a cost of $ 70.u.s. and the same for the return to the airport. (whether you are 1, 2, 3 people the price is $ 70 for the trip)

If you are taking our shuttle service, please let us know in advance and let us know your arrival day, landing time and your airline.

!!Provide that the fee of $ 70 is payable on arrival in cash directly to our driver.!!

**Please note: This is a remote island with LIMITED resources.

Take note that sometimes the internet , the electricity and water are out of service for a few hours or days on the island, due to bad weather or property repairs. What causes delays in our response time

All rooms have a 3 night minimum.

*** $70 US Dollars cleaning fee. Please pay cleaning fee in cash at the arrival.

*Complaints and Maintenance:
The Owner will make all reasonable efforts to keep the Property and facilities located within the Property in good working order and inventories in a reasonably sufficient amount. In the event there is a maintenance problem with any of the facilities located within the Property; the Owner will take all reasonable steps to repair the problem as soon as possible after being notified inwriting. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, water, heater/, air conditioning, television/cable service, appliances, etc. It is the Renter’s responsibility to report any problems or damage immediately to the local property manager.


LOST ITEMS

Items left after departure are not the responsibility of the Homeowner. The Owner or their representatives will attempt to retrieve the reported items. If found, you will have the financial responsibility of these items being.

LINENS AND SUPPLIES.

One (1) set of bed linen per bed is provided for your stay, along with one set of bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels per guest. A minimal supply of toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels are also provided along with a basic start up supply of bath soaps, and dish soap. Bed Linen, bath towels, and start up toiletries are not replenished during your stay. For additional information on quantities please refer to our FAQ.
