Affordable Animas Valley Townhome - Between Downtown and Purgatory

Our 1,450 sq. foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhome is located 11 miles (less then 15 minutes) north of downtown and 14 miles (15 minutes) south of Purgatory Ski area. This best-of-both worlds location offers privacy with excellent proximity to the area’s premier amenities and spectacular views of the Animas valley and the red cliffs that are so iconic to the reasons many are drawn to Durango. Dalton Ranch Golf Course and Trimble Hot Springs are 4 miles from the residence, and there are close-by restaurants, two nearby golf courses, and one of the area’s best grocery stores.

The residence backs up to National Forest Land and the historic Durango & Silverton tourist train runs adjacent to the property. There is outdoor living space both in front of the townhome and in the back off the master bedroom. You can expect all of the usual amenities such as WIFI, Smart TVs (no cable), Washer/Dryer and linens/towels. There are numerous tower fans in the condo to keep it cool in summer.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

The townhome is not pet friendly, so please do not bring your pets.

There is no parking for RVs, Trailers, Boats, etc at Pine Acres - Please do not book this property if you have a trailer etc.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Great place!

Great place and very pleasant owners! Good location just outside of town! Only minor nit was highway noise sometimes was noticeable.

Great location, close to purgatory. The only setback was there was no coffee maker. We brought it to the owners attention and we’re delivered one the next day. Great day.

Great Location

We were in the Durango area on a business trip and the Pine Acres location was ideal for our needs. Had i been on vacation it would have been a great spot for exploring the many activities available in the area. The house was clean and tidy and suited our needs perfectly. I would recommend this property to anybody looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Perfect place for our spring break week

This condo was easy to book, management company provided easy check in and check out instructions and were readily available if needed. The condo was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our entire crew of 2 teen and 2 pre-teen boys, myself and my husband. It was close to skiing and close to Durango, right in the middle. We loved it, would recommend it and would definitely stay again!

Everything thing was great as far as location. Beds were good. Plenty of room for everyone. Need some bigger pa s for cooking and most dishes were dirty.

Best EVER

It was like a dream, from the condo, to our experiences wherever we went. It was so pleasant and friendly, it felt good. We are already discussing going back! The condo was great! Great layout, the staging of furniture, the recommendations, the rooms, and that shower and train. Yup, waving to everyone! Awesome and thank you!

Nice property, last minute booking

This property was nice, roomy enough for 7 of us, and met our needs. We had originally booked out stay at another property, but they cancelled our reservations the day before we were scheduled to arrive. Thankfully we were able to find and book this property on short notice. We were a little nervous about staying somewhere that was available last minute, but this place did not disappoint. We will definitely consider this property if we go to Durango again. Two people in our party would have preferred to have air conditioning, but we did just fine with open windows and fans running.

Returning Guests...this should say it all

This is our second stay in this condo and that should speak for itself. The location is convenient for skiing and convenient if you need to run into Durango, the property is clean and spacious enough to house 2 adults and 4 teens from 12 to 17 without feeling crowded. This is our second spring break in this unit and we hope to be able to book again for next year. The property management was accommodating when we had a minor issue and it was fixed in a flash with zero inconvenience to us. The owners left a nice welcome gift that was sincerely appreciated! Love this place, highly recommend!
