Speight House, Soundfront House in Historical Beaufort, NC!

Speight House is a wonderful sound front getaway in Beaufort that has everything you will need! It boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. This breathtaking beauty on the water has an observation deck, boat lift and dock, a small vessel boat ramp (for kayak or similar), and much more!

She is equipped with 3 flat-panel TVs that pair well with a Roku and DVD player - the perfect combo for a relaxing evening indoors after a day of soaking up the sun.

Bedroom #1 has a King Bed and TV. Bedrooms #2 & #3 each have a Queen bed and TV. Bedroom #4 has a Twin Bunk Bed.

Boat lift on premises is available for guest use for vessels up to 29 ft length and 10,000 lb weight. Tenants will need to complete the waiver before using the lift. NOTE: Small boat ramp on premises is available for launching small non-motorized craft such as kayaks or small sailboats. For your motorized crafts you will need to utilize the public Newport River Pier and Ramp located nearby.

Up to 2 Dogs Allowed with our All-Inclusive Pet Policy for Weekly and Nightly stays - No fee! It is the responsibility of pet owners to ensure that they clean up after their pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). Should the guest fail to do so, an additional fee of $100 will be charged to the credit card on file.

Rents Weekly Saturday - Saturday. In 2025 Rents Nightly with a 2 night minimum in advance Year Round. In 2026 Rents Nightly with a 2 night minimum in advance during Off Season, last minute during In Season.

(1) Guests must pay in full when booking through VRBO. The card provided at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
(2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are strictly prohibited unless approved by management.
