Our home sits directly on Hood Canal along scenic Highway 106, conveniently located between Alderbrook Resort & Spa and Belfair (about 7 miles each way). Please note: Like many waterfront homes in Belfair, this property is located along Highway 106, so some road noise will be heard.

Important Policies

No pets (due to severe allergy) → $1,000 fee for unauthorized pets. Only trained service animals allowed.

This is an amazing home! Melissa was an exceptional host, very communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed all the amenities like the games, water toys, and hot tub. The house is well equipped and beautifully appointed for family gatherings!

This home is exactly as advertised. From the moment you walk thru the front door our family felt right at home. The view of the Hood Canal and Olympics is stunning. We utilized the kayaks, paddle boards, putting green and fire pits. And the jacuzzi was a huge hit! The 2 covered areas are perfect in the rain. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the living space is perfect for a large group. We were able to watch our Dodgers win the World Series. Melissa responded quickly and efficiently to my messages. The location is convenient to Belfair and Twanoh State Park which has an amazing nature walk thru the forest. You can buy fresh clams and oysters at Hook and Fork nearby. It was a great family vacation and we will treasure the memories we made at this fantastic vacation home.

The house exceeded expectations! Better than the pictures, stocked better than we could imagine, a perfect retreat for a young family. We appreciated the family room upstairs with toys for the toddler and video game machines for the older ones. Thoughtful touches of games, crafts, clamming supplies, water sports were greatly appreciated. Melissa got back to us in minutes when we needed more direction. I think this is one of the best VRBO house stays we have ever had. We hope to return!

Melissa, our host, was communicative and helpful from the beginning. She offered so many recommendations and really made us feel welcome and at home. The property and home were absolutely beautiful. Wonderful!! So much attention to ensuring as much fun & comfort as possible. We were a group of 10 and enjoyed all the spaces, in & out. SO MUCH attention to ensuring easy use of the home & fun equipment. Beach toys, little people toys, large dining table to seat all of us, large deck, very well equipped kitchen, extras available in supplies, towels, spices, etc. Plenty of towels & the double washer/dryer combo was so efficient! Beach & view were wonderful. We enjoyed paddle boards& kayaks with provided lifejackets & lots of available water shoes!!We kept discovering fun things like marshmallow sticks !! Highly recommend this beautiful, well-furnished beach home!! Oh - and the EV charging was great too!

Wonderful

We had an amazing adventure! This house is truly a gem—one of the best VRBO rentals we've experienced. It overlooks a stunning fjord and comes fully equipped with kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, and even water shoes for both adults and children in case you forget your own.The two washing machines and dryers, along with a generous supply of towels, show how thoughtfully the home is set up for guests. I would absolutely love to stay here again.Lastly, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I only wish I could have met her in person to thank her for everything she did.

Wonderful place!! Well equipped, first aid kit, clamming/oyster supplies, kayak paddle board, the game was so much fun:) we used everything, also did day trips to waterfalls, and the ocean!! Beautiful house and property

I rented this home to stay at with my parents and older aunts and uncles. Everyone had a wonderful time cooking together and enjoying fresh oysters off the beach. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a nice weekend together. We would consider staying again and would highly recommend to others.

Birthday on the water

Beautiful location and lovely home. Check in was extremely easy as was checkout. Melissa was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. Everything you needed for a long weekend getaway. So many things to do and games to play. We couldn’t recommend this home enough. It did not disappoint.

Wonderful Christmas on the Water

We spent five fantastic days at the Belfair house. The house was impeccable, with clean finishes and stunning views of the water. The house was filled with toys to keep my nephews entertained. And Melissa was incredibly communicative, responding to questions with minutes. We’d love to return to this wonderful house!

Oyster Paradise

The property was perfect. Location was great! And the seafood off the beach was to die for. Lots of activities for the kiddos, including fishing and Kayaks to explore the Hoods Canal. Just a great trip! The house had everything we needed, well stocked! Nice outdoor fire pit to sit out and drink coffee in the morning, and watch the wildlife, seals, and eagles. Can't wait to return! Could not have been more perfect!!

I don't even know where to begin but I'll start with the fact that Melissa is just the best host! We've never experienced a VRBO host that was so sweet, kind, and accommodating. Combine that with an incredibly beautiful house that met all of the needs for our large group of multiple ages and we were in absolute heaven! Anything you might possibly need, there's a good chance Melissa has already provided it. The outdoor spaces are incredible with stunning views everywhere you look. I wish I could include pictures to show how beautiful everything was. We got to see seals, otters, and even a large sea lion one day. We all enjoyed kayaking and were on the water any chance we could get. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and there were plenty of beds for everybody, including the babies. Everything you could need was in the kitchen, including a super fantastic coffee maker for our group of coffee snobs. The location is great, as well, as it is close to grocery stores and an excellent coffee shack, as well as not too far from the Bremerton ferry terminal. We would absolutely stay here again and again!

Family Event

Our family flew to Bremerton to surprise my Dad on his 90th birthday. My grandparents had a place by Sunset Beach so I wanted my family to share that experience. The house was clean, well stocked and had many activities for the kids. The best rental we have stayed. Look forward to coming back in the summer. Communication with Melissa was great. Thank you.

GIG WEDDING

The house was extremely clean, well stocked with all the items desired. Enjoyed the location and had a very nice clam harvest. Parking was a little tight but we had 3 vehicles so not unexpected. My guests said we should go back again and stay longer to enjoy the water and locality.

Ideal Canal Getaway!

I’ve vacationed at the Hood Canal a dozen of times and this by far has been one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 toddlers. The house had ample space and lots of activities, games, and toys to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed a feast of oysters and clams sourced directly from the beach. We cannot wait to come back again.

Beautiful view

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at this property. It is clean and well stocked. Can find shellfish in back when tide is low, easy to kayak. Low key activities nearby. WiFi worked well for my daughter who needed to work online. It can get a little loud with cars passing by for the rooms that face the road but overall wonderful stay!

Family Gathering

We had relatives come and visit from Germany and we wanted a house where we could all get together and enjoy a long weekend. The house was perfect. We enjoyed the view, water access and the house! All perfect!

Perfect Canal Getaway!

My sister and I took our four young boys to the canal for 3 days. The house was spacious, clean and so well organized and had all the essentials one could need. The outdoor spaces were so inviting and perfect for taking in the array of weather we experienced in our short stay. Right below the house we searched for and collected enough mussels and oysters to generously feed our hungry party. Even though the house is right on the road, we felt secluded and tucked away and in our own little world. Melissa was very communicative and so helpful when we had questions. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely canal vacation. We will certainly be back!!

All in one Northwest Experience

We cannot say enough about this property and owner. First off, communication and friendliness of the owner is above and beyond. Melissa accomadated a special request without a second thought. She responded to our questions during our stay timely and friendly. The house is amazing. Clean, roomy and relaxing. We had 6 adults, 4 teenagers and 1 10 year old. There is so much space to get away on your own if you need it. The loaction and view is top of our list of places we have stayed. The canal and snow capped moutains are in clear view from almost everywhere including the amazing deck off the back of house and the hot tub. We all made use of the kayaks, swim equipment, putting green, hot tub fishing equipment, grill. The marinelife.....harbor seals every day, we were blessed with an orca showing up one day, harbor porpoise, a dolphin one day, otters a coupel days and a resident bald eagle that hung out in the tree over the deck most days. We ate oysters and clams off the beach every single day. We loved this house and it made the perfect family vacation. I would add pics if possible.
