About this space
There's no place like home and this whimsical cottage will surely be a place you will enjoy staying at. Plenty of land and privacy around you and plenty of space inside for a cozy get-a-way vacation or a long term stay.

An interesting personal collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia inside this cottage with water and land all around you! The mighty Tennessee River is a couple of minutes away. Sit on the porch and view the valley dreaming your day away or snuggle inside to escape the world!
The space
Custom built cottage with interesting craftsmanship details. Built by a preacherman cabinet maker, this 15 year old property is in mint condition. With a few added feminine touches- it's now a fun getaway Airbnb.

Wonderful little cottage

By far my best stay on the Tenessee river so far. The location was perfect and the cottage was nice and cozey. We made good use of the fire pit and grill, and the pull out bed option was a great perk for sure. Id love to stay again.

Nice cabin. Instructions about where the cabin is might be a little clearer. We found it by talking to the neighbors in front.

Great quiet getaway!

Owner is amazing! Great place for dogs, kids and adults. This truly is a unique property that is clean, friendly and very welcoming. Our dog was invited with an open door and even greeted with a milk bone. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there is plenty of things to do at the cottage and surrounding area. Love this property!!

Very nice cabin great location! Only problem I had was the beds are hard as a rock. Also there is a shower head but no way to turn the shower on other than that loved it.

Hi Ginger, we really struggled with your booking and am sorry to hear even though we were in constant communication during your stay we still couldn't get it perfect, which we strive for. The faucet is brand new and we tried to explain how to use it during your stay. With 7 people on a property that allows 3 in booking info and 4 with approval, not sure how you managed bathing everyone! We could have easily assisted since the owner is on the property. Sorry the bed didn't suit you either. We will see if we need to make adjustments for future guests. So far so good since your departure. Wishing you the very best in future bookings and as I suggested in previous communications, know that the rules are set in the booking information for a reason and that they do matter.

Enjoyed the place. If you need to be online or connected it is in and out with service. We were good, but for some it's important. Great hosts and very attentive to whatever you may need.

I am a high energy person that after 40 years of living and traveling all over the USA and world have decided to move back home to connect with my roots and most importantly be near my 4 sisters and mom. I bought a small 8 acre 30 year old horse farm and made it comfortable for travelers like me. I'm a master gardener, licensed auctioneer and global sales and marketing consultant ( as my real job!). I love hosting properties and this collaboration with my sister and her personal collection of Wizard of Oz items made it so much fun to work with.
We enjoy all of our guests and look forward to hosting you and your family.

Beautiful country location near multiple marinas and state parks. Wide open space to enjoy and just minutes from many attractions in the area. Got a boat, trailer, jet ski, ATV, U-Haul, etc?
Plenty of space to bring it along with you during your visit. Just confirm at booking so we can make adjustments for parking.

We welcome long term stays as well as folks looking for a quick overnight getaway.
