Canal front home in a gated community. Large screened in porch. Sleeps 4 comfortably + a queen sleeper sofa if needed. Freshly updated deck furniture, Docking post and fish cleaning table on a spacious deck and 64' seawall. Direct access to the Atlantic and Gulf. Pamper yourself and your boat. Community amenities including boat ramp, pool, hot tub, tennis and pickle ball, Bochy ball, shuffle board, Saturday morning, pancake breakfast in the winter months.

Two bedrooms, king and queen, two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, deck and patio furniture. Freezer chest on the patio. Everything you need.

Nice layout, great boat access.

Nice two bedroom/two bath home. Great porch!Unfortunately it was not cleaned well - sticky countertops, food dried to placemats, bathroom floors, stained towels, etc. Also, empty tissue boxes, missing lightbulbs.

The property was exactly what we wanted, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The property manager was very helpful when we checked in, making sure security was aware of our arrival. Everything was great!

Quick stay

The house was clean, and charming, and perfect for our excursions into Key West each day. We had a slight glitch getting into the house which was resolved within minutes! The people at the gate, and the owner as well, were just super! So pleasant and helpful. I would stay again any time we're in the Keys. Pat S

Perfect spot

The home was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Nice complex, great pool. Fun to sit on the sea wall and chill. Saw 2 manatees there one morning! Nice to NOT be in Key West, but a short drive to get there!

Perfect Lower Keys Homebase!

Sun Bake is the perfect homebase for all your Lower Keys fun! Ample sea wall for boat dockage, amazing screen porch and comfy adirondacks on the sea wall. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens amd towels. Lots of great Venture Out activities and amenities, boat fuel and store for convenience items. Owners were very attentive and responsive. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Family Time in Venture Out

We had a great time in Cudjoe Key where we were visiting family. Venture Out is a great, quiet retreat. The porch and open living area in this unit make is great for comfortably spending time together. The property was clean, and everything from booking, to check-in to check-out was a breeze. The owners responded very quickly to any questions that we sent. We spent most of our time exploring the area, but we did take a quick dip in the pool (which was heated due to chilly low-70s temperatures while we were there.) If we return, we would definitely rent a boat and take advantage of the large sea wall. This space was perfect for our family of four with two young children and would also be great for two couples.

Kim and I started working with vacation rentals in 2003, in Chincoteague Virginia. In 2016 we added another property in Nags Head North Carolina. Linda Sue, named after my wife's late sister. In 2021 we sold the Chincoteague property and started looking for something in the Keys. When we visited Venture Out we knew this was it. We purchased Sponge Cake on March 1, 2023. Immediately started updating to make it as comfortable as possible for our guest. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

We selected Venture out because of the flexible rental opportunities and the great access to the Atlantic and the Gulf. When we first looked at 127 we knew the 64' sea wall was a unique opportunity. We will continue to update the property to benefit our guest. If you check the reviews on Linda Sue (VRBO 883064) you will see our commitment to our guest. We intend to have the same type of reviews with Sponge Cake.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Thew most unique thing about Sponge Cake is the large screened deck and the 64' Sea Wall. We are working on adding manufactured, dock fenders soon. We demolished the crumbling fish cleaning station and are replacing it with a new Cleaning station. We will be adding other things as we settle in. We will be looking for your input on what we can do to make it the best it can be.
