Family trip

The house was beautiful and well supplied with everything you would need to enjoy the Keys!! The outdoor area was wonderful with the hammock, swing , shared dock and pool. The location was great and easy to get to the things we wanted to visit. Owner was responsive. Many wonderful memories were made!!

We can’t wait to go back !!!

We stayed for a week with 3 little kids and had the best time! The house was exactly as described had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a few meals there. We used the washer / dryer a lot, they provided detergent. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows. The views from all the rooms were so nice - I loved waking up and looking right out to the water. You can see both the sunrise to the left and sunset to the right from the porches.We fished everyday, used the kayaks , and went in the heated pool. The house had everything we needed for all the outdoor activities. The location was great- a little over a half hour to key west and marathon. Close to a big grocery store and a few restaurants. The binder in the house gave us tons of info on things to do and history of the islands and the house.We hope to be able to go again next year!

Property was exceptional - a rare find. The location was a perfect base for our fishing trips. The dock setup was excellent. The views from the house were breathtaking. The pool was just right for relaxation after a day on the water. Communication with the manager was a 10.

Amazing home

Don't scroll past this listing. Everything is as advertised. It was the perfect home away from home. Has everything you could possibly need. The location can only be described as awesome. Gorgeous views for quiet days at the house and close to Key West and Marathon for the more adventurous. We'll be back!

Perfect Keys Getaway

We were so pleased with our stay at this property. Everything went smoothly from check in to our departure. The home was beautiful, perfectly located and sparkling clean. For us the location between Key West and Marathon was perfect--and so peaceful. If nature and peace and quiet are what you are looking for, you will find it here. We visited Key West and Marathon but were more than happy to return to this oasis. Of all of the units in this community, this one is prime. It is directly on the small beach and right next to the pool with unobstructed, beautiful views. I chose this unit partly because of the bikes, kayaks and paddleboards offered, but my husband injured his shoulder prior to the trip, so we didn't get to use any of them. There are many very good restaurants nearby--the closest is Broil--and was the best, in our opinion. The food and service were over the top. A more casual option, Boondocks was fun, and we were surprised at how good the food was. We also love stopping at Hogfish Grill in Key West on our way up from the airport. The Key West airport is an easy drive. We drove up to Miami when we left, and that drive is one you need to do at least once in your lifetime. As far as the unit goes, as others have mentioned, it was very well stocked. You could literally arrive with just your clothes, and everything else would be provided. The decor is so beachy and fun, bedding was very nice and beds were quite comfortable. Hope to return!

Beautiful home with beautiful views

This is such a beautiful house! There are gorgeous views from the first and second floors, and both floors have decks with water views and plenty of seating. You can see both the sunrise and sunset from the porches.The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. There's a full-size washer and dryer which we really appreciated.The location can't be beat. The home is 25 minutes from Key West, so it's an easy drive if you want any of the activities offered there and it's far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful. The stars that you can see in the night sky are incredible since you're away from the busier areas of the Keys.There is a storage room with all sorts of recreational equipment for your use. We loved being able to use a couple of beach chairs when we visited Bahia Honda.The owners are sweet people who are incredibly helpful. They made some great suggestions to us for activities and restaurants prior to our arrival.

Florida Keys adventure

Had a wonderful stay with our 4 adult children. Centrally located so we were able to stay away from the crowds but easy drive for shopping and food. Beds were super comfortable. Loved the paddle boards, kayaks and bikes, something for everyone to do. Went to Bahia Honda beach for a day trip and it was so nice to have beach chairs, towels and a cooler to use. Will definitely book this again for our next great adventure!

Amazing Spot In The World

Perfect location for sunrises and sunsets!The unit had everything you need and was organized super well. The outdoor accessories of kayaks, paddle boards, fishing gear and coolers were terrific. It was really easy to go from the unit to being on the water. We had a wonderful family trip!

Great, Clean house to stay at. Spent Christmas week with my wife and kids. Close to Key West for the older kids and nice and relaxing for my wife and I. Right on the water with perfect views. Highly recommend!

Another Amazing Stay

We just completed another amazing stay at 110 Sunrise. A Keys trip is an annual December tradition for my family, and we used to vary where we stayed, however once we found 110 Sunrise we haven't stayed elsewhere. This place has everything one could want, and the location cannot be beat. Highly recommended.

Perfect Getaway

This property is located in a perfect spot. This property offers more than you would ever need to feel at home on vacation. The house was spotless and very well organized. The bedrooms each have an on-suite bathroom and a door that opens to a deck facing the water and pool. If you enjoy water sports, the property offers plenty while supplying fishing poles, kayaks, and chairs. Personally, the pool was just perfect for me. There is nothing difficult about your stay here; Rick has made this vacation home feel like pulling up to your own home. You will also find a three-ring binder full of any information you might be looking for while you visit the Keys. This location is in between Marathon and Key West which makes it convenient for going out to great restaurants and exploring.

Amazing place

This house is absolutely amazing. It has ALL the toys, super clean, gorgeous views and amazing amenities. Unfortunately we stayed during the week of hurricane Milton and ended up having to leave early not knowing quite exactly where the storm was going to hit. Owners were awesome and worked with us. We will definitely be back, We have VRBO for years and this by far was our favorite place.

The property was just a described. Great location and amenities for a family get away in the lower keys. Easy check-in access with great communication with host on details. Great access to water and boat access if you bring one with you.

More than a wow

Easily the best VRBO experience I’ve had and the others have been excellent. Rick was extremely helpful and provided not only items to get the vacation started right away but guides and information galore to help make informed decisions. Anyone that wants to experience relaxation and all that the keys has to offer should absolutely book this place. All kinds of exploration available and conveniently located halfway been Key West and Marathon making it super easy to thoroughly experience both areas. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tropical relaxation and detachment from the everyday grind.

Perfect for us!

The property is in a quiet location, very clean and within 30 minutes of all that we had planned. The amenities were endless and very much appreciated. While we did not have time to use the kayaks, etc., it was a nice option. While there we visited Dry Tortugas, snorkeled at Looe Key reef, visited Bahia Honda State Park (beautiful), spent a day in Key West (Butterfly Conservatory, Hemingway House, etc), visited the Turtle Hospital (definitely a great experience), fed the tarpons at Robbie’s, and so much more. First time in the Keys and definitely loved having a home base that was so accommodating after long days of adventure. Rick and Barbara were very responsive with any questions. Would definitely book again! Thanks for everything!!

On the ocean! Peaceful, private, great ammenties!

Perfect! Location, location, location. If yoy enjoy privacy in a small gated community and access to the pool and ocean in only a few steps, this is the place for you! Close to Key West and Marathon for activities and after a fun day fishing, boating, beaching, eating and enjoying all that Key West has to offer, you get to come back to a practically private setting with amazing ocean views inside home and out! Practically perfect in every way! You can bring your boat right to house since this home is on the water!

Simply Amazing!

This is by far the best VRBO home I have stayed at. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful place. The views are amazing, the extra’s (kayaks, stand up paddle board, fishing gear) and the location of the home made this such a perfect vacation for us. The home owners provide you with a wonderful book that provides all of their favorite things to do and places to eat. That was our playbook for the week, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful place!!!

This home was well stocked with all the extras we usually have to purchase when staying at a rental. The home was set up perfectly for 2 couples. The week we were here happened to be spring break but was very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Check in/out was clearly explained, had no issues. Cudjoe Key was perfectly located between Key West and Marathon for days we chose to go exploring. The book created at the home was amazing! It had tips and recommendations for everything from charters, public transportation and restaurants. We hopped on the bus one day to Key West (pick up is literally 100 ft out the gate) and cost under $10/couple. We chose to Uber back later that evening and was only $70. Overall, very happy choosing this home for our trip.

Florida Keys 2024

We finally took the plunge and stayed in the Keys for 30 days. The accommodations at Sunrise Beach Resort were awesome. The unit had everything you could need for a great vacation. We met some great folks while there for the month. We would highly recommend this and the owner was great.

I was born and raised in Beaufort S.C., and graduated from Clemson University prior to obtaining my MBA and starting my own business. My wife Barbara was principal of The Sanibel School on Sanibel Island for 18 years prior to retiring after 38 years in education. Married for 41 years, we live in Fort Myers, FL where we raised our 3 children. We fondly recall our first trip to the keys 40 years ago when we slept in a tent! We fell in love with the keys during that trip. After exploring many islands in the Caribbean throughout the years, we came to realize that if you know where to go in the keys, they are magical, and what they have to offer is unsurpassed compared to other island we have ever visited.

After years of exploring and vacationing throughout the Florida keys, my wife and I decided to purchase a vacation home on Cudjoe Key. We love this area of the keys with the best fishing and diving, and its proximity to excellent restaurants, yet it is not far from the excitement of Key West. It is difficult to find a location directly on the water, where you can keep your boat or fish from the dock directly behind the house, swim in the pool located next to the house, or kayak in the calm waters in the bay directly behind the house. We have found just that perfect location! We promise you will love the ocean views from every room in our home!
