This home is situated in a quiet area and within close distance to water, wineries, and downtown Traverse City. It is conveniently located centrally to wineries on both Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas, and Sleeping Bear National Lakesure. It is also nearby two public boat launches (one for Cedar Lake and one at Elmwood Township Marina) and a paved recreational trail called the TART trail.

This is a comfortable space that has received superhost status and 5 stars on other sites.


Note: Legal occupancy limit is up to 6 adults plus any children under 5. Guest max is 8.

Our stay was great! The place was clean, cozy and so close to downtown, Sutton Bay. I would recommend this VRBO out to friends and family!

Wine weekend

We enjoyed our time at this rental. It was a quick weekend with three couples, house head plenty of room for us all. Great location to downtown and wineries.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Perfect location for wine tasting on either peninsulas. Plenty of space to spread out. Bathrooms were very nice with good water pressure and the kitchen had everything you need for a weekend getaway. Beds were comfy and cozy. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for Family Stay

We had 2 young children and 2 adult couples staying in the house. The upstairs area was great for one couple and 2 pack and plays set up and away from the rest of the house for a quiet early bedtime. On the main floor there were doors that were able to shut to block both stairways which was perfect when the littles were toddlering about. There were covers over many of the electrical outlets which we appreciated for babyproofing. The basement was great for the kids to play in as well. Everything was clean including kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. We went to a wedding at Visions Venue just a couple minutes away. It was nice and quiet to be away from the bars in downtown Traverse. This house would be perfect for 3 couples in their separate rooms and multiple children to be able to sleep comfortably. Very family friendly home. Very responsive host. Outside had a nice deck with bonfire pit. Long driveway to park multiple cars if needed. We loved our stay and plan to rent again in the future.

Great Getaway!

This property was clean and comfy! Close to downtown and easy to get to the wineries! Great restaurants near by without having to go into the downtown area. Two things that were a bit misleading: No water views. And the bigger/updated bathroom is in the basement. Not huge deals, but don’t realize those two things before booking. Overall, really enjoyed the house.

Cute TC getaway

Charming house right on the edge of downtown TC. Only about a 5 minute (maybe less) drive to town. The house provided everything we needed for our stay in Traverse City. The host was amazing and very accommodating for our requests. :) Would definitely recommend for a small group or family!

Convenient and cozy

Close to dining and activities. Deer in the back yard each morning. The home amenities, appliances, furnishings, and decor were just what we were looking for.

Clean, spacious and comfortable!

Christina was great to work with. I was totally impressed with the cleanliness of this home. Baseboards were even clean! We didn’t have to bring anything but our clothes and what we wanted as far as food and drink. The home was stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and more. Very nice, comfortable, and lots of room. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, comfortable, quiet

We loved staying in this house because of it's great location--especially how close it was to the TART Trail system. We went on walks along the trail and then rented bikes one day at Riding Electric which is just down the street. Loved it! It's close to downtown Traverse City as well. The house itself is very comfortable; beds were great, and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. There's plenty of room for a family, between the loft, the main floor, and the basement. The house is nicely furnished and has all the supplies needed. We'd definitely staty again!

First of all, thank you for looking at and considering my property!

My name is Christina and I am a single mom of two young adventurous daughters, 8 & 12yo. I am an occupational therapist, handywoman, entrepreneur, world traveler, musician, foodie, surfer and coffee snob, living between Michigan and Southern California.

Traverse City is where I grew up and have lived much of my adult life. It is always a pleasure to share hospitality with people who apprciate this beautiful place I get to call home, Traverse City, MI. Before short term rentals were a thing several years ago, this house became a place to stay for vacationers to the area. I have pride in my short term rentals and take on as much of the maintenance and management as I can, myself. It means the world to me when people treat my homes as their own, because I put so much blood, sweat and tears (literally) into my vacation homes.
