Get ready to feel right at home the next time you visit Northwestern Michigan. Perfectly located, our property is (1) block from East Bay's beaches, boat launches, marinas, boat rentals, restaurants and more. We are also just (3) blocks to the Tart and Leelanau Trails, with bike access to Traverse City (2 miles), its theaters, Wineries, Breweries, Farmers Market and other amenities. The trails also provide bike access to Suttons Bay (15 miles), and even to Sleeping Bear Dunes (22 miles). Located on a quiet residential street tucked away in a neighborhood oasis just one block off M22, there is no better location for enjoying all the area has to offer with ease next time you find yourself headed Up North.. Note re Furniture- very plush and comfy, made to sink back and relax. Not ideal for guests who desire hard surfaces that are easy to get up from. Guests with mobility limitations would lbe most comfortable on Pottery Barn loveseat in living area or a dining room chair with arms to help tthem sit down and stand up. Most people love the comfiness but it doesn’t suit everyones needs.

We chose this location based on how close it was to our daughter’s wedding venue and to downtown. The house is very clean and quiet and provided us with a welcomed retrieve from the craziness of a wedding. The hostess was very accessible and incredibly easy to work with.

Comfortable, well equipped home in convenient neighborhood location.

This is a clean, comfortable, well equipped home in a nice neighborhood. It’s perfect for three couples. A walk to West Bay and 5-10 minutes to TC.

Excellent Stay

Nice Little House

We had a really pleasant stay. The house was conveniently located, clean, and well appointed. There are several good restaurants and an ice cream shop nearby. If you want to cook, you will find everything you need in this kitchen. We had very enjoyable visit.

Such a lovely stay!

Judy's place was perfect for the six of us - we were three sets of adult couples. Couldn't have asked for a more convenient, comfortable stay. Judy herself was incredibly helpful with accommodations and location recommendations (food, events, area). The beds were comfortable, kitchen roomy, ample bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out. Loved the walkable area - only just a few easy minutes to an awesome public beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat - thanks Judy!

Clean, comfortable home great location

We stayed at this property for a long weekend while in town for a wedding. Host was very accommodating, especially when she learned we had a young toddler with us. Easy to communicate with and made the check in/out process a breeze. Plenty of linens/towels, basic pantry items, dishes, etc to make your stay comfortable. Just a few minutes from a lovely beach park.

All we needed!

Great location! Lots of Restaurants and things to do at our fingertips! The marina and beach across the street was a perfect evening watching the sunset and sail boats. House was also well stocked with everything we needed! We also enjoyed the front porch for our morning coffee! We will be back!

Weekend Away!

We spent an enjoyable long weekend with our adult children, the deck makes a nice gathering place. The kitchen was well appointed with cookware/appliances, we were able to fix all our meals, relax and enjoy our family. We had one minor issue, but the host was very responsive, and it was addressed quickly and efficiently.

Great little house by the Bay

Property is well equipped and well kept. Judy was super easy to communicate with. Beds are comfy all items are first class, even the towels. We walked to a sailboat cruise and eblikes are close by to ride the Leelanau trail. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Judy.

Property owner goes above and beyond

This house was the perfect place for our family of 6. Close to several great restaurants, an ice cream place, the bike trail and the lakeshore. Yet it was tucked away just enough for privacy and quiet. Judy, the owner, was especially wonderful to deal with. We were welcomed to the house with a bottle of wine and plenty of waffle mix for breakfast. This was so nice after a long day of driving! We would definitely stay here again!

Off the Beaten Path

In the middle of a hectic vacation locale, you can find peace and quiet at this VRBO. Having breakfast on the front deck together was a great way to start the day. It was like being at home. Any type of cookware was available, and the hostess went to extra lengths in welcoming us. There was plenty of room for our party of six adults. We had a wonderful weekend in TC.

Clean and comfortable!

This home is exactly as advertised. Very close to all that Traverse City and the surrounding area has to offer. It was a perfect home base for my family to enjoy a long weekend in beautiful "up north" Michigan. Jane was very prompt in her communication and was available to any help we needed. Bed were comfortable and many thoughtful touches were provided. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home!

Short Vacation with our children and their families

We were very pleased with the accommodations and the accuracy of the information provided. Judy was very helpful and quick in answering any questions we had. Judy provides everything you need and more. The location was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck. A quick walk to the beach or to get ice cream was a lovely way to spend each day. And a lake to fish and/kayak was nearby also. We are ready to plan another trip!

What you don't see is sometimes what you wish with you knew. We are not on a busy road, don't adjoin commercial property and are not adjacent to a swamp. There is no new construction nearby. You will feel like you are in a rural setting in our quiet setting but walk a short distance and you will experience all the wonderful amenities of our location-our neighborhood is known as a secret here-small and hidden, we all love it and believe you will too. The deck is perfectly situated to provide a private oasis. We provide quality linens (680 thread count, appliances, furniture (Pottery Barn, Henredon, Baker, Hooker, quality amenities and a sparkly clean home for you to enjoy.
