Mosfellsbær district, most beautiful place in the great Reykjavik area, stunning nature. About 15 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. Few minutes from Mosfellsbær shopping centre. Peaceful place with a balcony and beautiful landscape with horses, mountains, lake, river etc. Perfect for those who also plan to travel to the countryside. Good to have a car but commuting is also great, bus stops only 1 minute walk from the house.
In short: Fantastic place in nature but still in greater Reykjavik area

My son and I love this house, now we are how ever renovating another house and living there. I am a psychologist and an actor and a director. I work with young adults at a treatment center and I have also a freelance mediator. When I have time I work on producing my comedy episodes that are in the making, which I direct and act in. My first main role in a feature move will be released hopefully this year. For many, before my child was born, I hosted people in my home on airbnb. I also rented out one apartment and got great reviews and was a superhost. I love meeting new people and I hope to meet you and will do my best to make your stay joyful, peaceful and interesting.

This property called Undraland (Wonderland) is both, kind of, in the country side and in a small town called Mosfellsbær. Its close to down town Reykjavik but you have to have a car to travel around. Its a great hiking area and you feel close to nature and the peacefulness that comes with it. Driving to the national park Þingvellir is about 20 to 25 minutes drive. From there you can do the Golden circle. The shopping area is 5 minutes away and also the two swimming pools. One is called Lágafellslaug, its got sauna and hot tubs, a cold tub and slides for the kids. Its my favored swimming pool in Iceland, for me and my son. You can also by fresh vegetables on some days from the local farmer and and turkey.
