The Space:
Watson House is a pet-friendly property featuring four bedrooms (one with a sofa bed), two bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a large dining room. The lounge and family room, each have large flat-panel LCD TVs (one Smart) a DVD player, Wi-Fi, Netflix, Crave and Prime. The outdoor deck has an eight-seater table for al-fresco meals, plus easy chairs for relaxing. There’s also a Broil King propane BBQ. A lower patio overlooks East Lake and offers daytime loungers plus an Iron Embers outdoor fire pit and six Muskoka chairs – Great for s’mores and sunsets!

The giant sand dunes and delightful beaches at Sandbanks are just a 10-minute drive away. Beach passes for two vehicles are included with your rental. Sandbanks is an excellent location for spring and fall hikes and in, the winter, offers great trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Watson House is equally close to the main town of Picton, with an extensive LCBO, three supermarkets, an excellent selection of restaurants, many cafes and lots of great boutique shopping.

- All linens (sheets, towels, bathmats, kitchen linens, pillows, duvets and covers) are included. (Please bring your own beach towels).
- CLEANING IS INCLUDED however all guests are asked to tidy, take care of their dishes and garbage, and put items back in their proper places.
- Toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage/recycling bags, shampoo, conditioner and BBQ propane are all supplied.
- TWO beach passes are included for use during your stay.
- There is a water cooler with complementary jugs of drinking water for your stay. The tap water comes from a well. Ontario water regulations advise that you boil it before drinking

Please be aware
- Responsible pet owners and pets are welcome - an additional fee of $50 per stay if pets are joining you.
- Before checkout, guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling and place it in the porch bins secured with the cords provided, move any displaced items back to their original spots and leave the cottage tidy.
- No smoking inside (including vaping and all forms of recreational smoking)

The Neighborhood:
Watson House is in the village of Cherry Valley and overlooks East Lake. Cherry Valley has one store, just five minutes walk from the house. During the season, it’s great for grabbing milk, ice cream for the kids, Saturday papers, and has a small LCBO section! They also sell dry firewood and kindling.

Other Things to Note:
We ask that our guests are respectful of our wonderful neighbors. Please don’t have parties, especially outdoors and please respect neighbourhood quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. Thanks!
