The seasonal Sandy Harbor Water Park offers almost three acres of water features and family fun.

IMPORTANT 2026–2027 OCEAN LAKES AMENITY UPDATE

Big changes are coming to Sandy Harbor!

Ocean Lakes has announced a major expansion that will bring exciting new aquatic amenities to the resort.

Beginning September 8, 2026, the existing indoor pool, original outdoor pool, and Sandy Harbor Mini Golf are scheduled to close for demolition and construction.

During construction, Ocean Lakes plans to utilize the Adventure River as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions permit.

The new Sandy Harbor facilities are targeted to open by Memorial Day Weekend 2027 and are planned to include:

A brand-new resort-style outdoor pool
Private cabanas
A new climate-controlled indoor facility
A dramatically larger indoor pool
Kids` splash pool and aquatic play area
Two indoor body slides
New food service
An expanded Game Center

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.
