Meet "Isabella," the Bear Lake Monster, and embark on an adventure through decor, artwork, and hidden surprises that bring this local legend to life. This is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else!

Perfect Place

Perfect for our family reunion. The king size beds were great. The kitchen very adequate for cooking . We made all our meals there. Having access to Ideal Beach was great with use of the kayaks beach towels chairs etc from the garage. Our grandchildren loved the scavenger hunt! Thanks for a great time!

Beautiful house, great stay

We had a lot of fun a little scavenger hunt set up by the owners. The kids loved playing video games and foozeball. Access to Ideal Beach was great, the property is super close.

Fall Break Getaway

We stayed over our fall break. The leaves were colorful, the weather was cool and nice. We relaxed a lot in the hot tubs, and enjoyed movies in. The house was super clean, and anytime we needed anything the hosts were very attentive. Looking forward to staying there again!

Great Friend Trip

We had 5-6 families all stay here and it was super comfortable for everyone. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms, and space for all adults and children. Incredibly well thought out and intentionally designed to make it a fun trip for everyone. Beach toys, kayaks, etc. Had a great time.

Great place to stay! Unique extras like books put around in various spots, fun firepit which we enjoyed so much talking around it last night about how much we enjoyed our stay. Good beds and pillows. Two fridges were super helpful! When we needed something, quick responses were appreciated! Loved all the dishes and silverware; and sand toys and beach towels, board games, plus a fun scavenger hunt to do when we arrived. GREAT PLACE! We all loved it! Cool posters and info about the Bear Lake Monster! Ideal beach was beautiful & enjoyable, raspberry shakes in town were delicious! All 23 of us made some great memories!

Great location

House was in a perfect spot in between ideal Beach and garden city restaurants/shops. House was really nice, lots of beds and space. Having access to ideal beach and everything there was a game changer. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home for our large family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the Bear Lake Monster house. We appreciated having king sized beds in so many of the rooms, and the well thought out accommodations for dining for our group of 18. It was wonderful having access to Ideal Beach and we enjoyed the beach, pools, mini golf, and playgrounds. Everything we needed was available at the house from beach towels, to games, to sand toys, and extra fridge space. Owners were quick to reply to communication and were helpful with tips for the local area and the house. We enjoyed sitting by the gas firepit in the back yard, and appreciated having plentiful parking. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but also to come together for group games and activities. There were lots of homey touches from a scavenger hunt for the kids, and books and toys for the little ones. We had a marvelous time, and will definitely book again when we return to the area.

We had a great time staying here. The house was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space and lots of activities within the house to keep the kids entertained. Family reunion

With siblings all over the West, we needed a place big enough to fit us all under one roof. We had four families plus grandma and grandpa with more than enough room for everyone. A quick jump over to the lake or into town made the location super convenient. A couple of the teens who ignored their parents and got badly sunburned, real enjoyed their private bunks in the cool basement.

Family Getaway

We had the best time at your Bear Lake Monster House! The house was set up perfectly. Immaculately clean and organized. Beautiful and comfortable furniture and beds. I loved all the clear instructions on how to work the tv, grill, thermostats, etc., and it was very easy to check in and out. We loved the access to ideal beach and it was a perfect walking distance from the house. We used the beach towels hanging in the garage and were so easy to wash up and replace. We would for sure stay there again!

Great House Awesome Amenities!

We loved staying at The Bear Lake Monster House!! The host was easy to communicate with and the house has everything we needed! The kids loved the scavenger hunt the host set up! What a cute idea! Having king sized beds in the bedrooms was a huge plus for our mostly adult group! And having beach towels that were easily accessible was a nice touch. I think one of the best perks of the house is having access to Ideal Beach Resort!! Having close beach access, a pool, hot tub and sports courts really made our trip! Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Great stay, host went the extra mile!

We had three families staying in this house and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time! The house was stocked with all kitchen amenities and appliances, it was clean and nicely decorated. The kids loved The Bear Lake Monster theme and talked about it all week.. the host even provided a scavenger hunt for the kids with a little Bear Lake Monster to keep! We loved and appreciated that the host provided kayaks, chairs, and life jackets for use at the beach.. and communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure our needs were met. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Vacation

Being my first time at Bear Lake I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was very enjoyable. We loved it Bear lake Monster house. It was very spacious with lots of bedrooms that fit our needs perfectly. The beds were comfy and the kids loved the bunk rooms and family room downstairs to hang out playing games. We appreciated the beach chairs and cooler and loved making smores and hanging out around the fire pit. Mike was very responsive to any texts I sent him which made it nice too. Thanks again. We hope to be back.

The house was great. Kids loved the toys from the scavenger hunt. Needs a larger water heater with that many people staying there. Our other issue was the parking. No room for toys and boat trailers..

Great house with beach resort access

This was our first visit to Bear Lake and we were very happy with our stay at the Bear Lake Monster House for our vacation with extended family. We had 24 people ages 1 to 70 and fit everyone very comfortably in the accommodations. The house was very clean, Mike (the host) was very responsive when we had questions, and the instructions were great. There was even a fun scavenger hunt set up for the kids to find our very own Bear Lake Monster upon our arrival! One of the best, and perhaps somewhat unexpected, things was the access to Ideal Beach Resort. It is only a few minutes drive and was a great place to go to get out on the water or play games on the grass or swim in the pool. It was definitely a huge plus for our stay!

The house was large enough for 17 of us. It is new and clean. Because it is a new development, the area around the house is dusty and lacks landscape, lawn etc. I’m sure that will be different in the future.

Chef’s Kiss Perfection

We loved the Bear Lake Monster House! The location is perfect! So close to everything - particularly the Pickleville Playhouse and the best beaches (in our opinion). The neighborhood is new and so is the house, which we loved! The house well-appointed and included everything we needed throughout our stay. There were king beds in all of the rooms upstairs which was an amazing touch! You never find that ANYWHERE. We also loved that the bedrooms upstairs had large TV’s as well! The frisbees, beach toys, towels, and scavenger hunt truly took our visit over the top. In addition to everything mentioned it was also amazing that everything was labeled and easy to find. The house comes with access to ‘Ideal Beach’ which was also amazing! We took full advantage of that benefit and utilized the beach toys included with the house. We’ll definitely be back soon! Incredible Family Getaway

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Bear Lake Monster House! We especially loved the kitchen/dining area/living room as there was plenty of space for the entire family to be together. This would be an awesome place for the family to spend Thanksgiving weekend. The bunk rooms were exciting for the kids and the king beds were luxurious for the adults. Even though the house is big it feels cozy. The furniture is comfortable, the decor is charming, and it is stocked with kitchen essentials. The grandkids really loved foosball and the Connect Four game on the wall. The little playroom hidden under the stairs was a fun surprise! There were toys and books to keep the little kids entertained which all the adults were incredibly grateful for. All of the Bear Lake Monster trivia and artwork throughout the house was interesting and leveled up the whole experience. Bear Lake Monster House is minutes away from many parks, restaurants, and public beaches. The hosts also go above and beyond and offer free access to Ideal Beach Resort. We spent the day at the beach, swimming, hot tubbing, mini golfing, playing bingo, giant chess, and playing on the playground. We didn’t have time to play tennis but will definitely do that next time! Garden City Park is a 6-minute drive with a playground, grassy area, and a boardwalk out to the beach. It was a lovely sandy beach for all the littles. We were worried when the weather turned cold on our last day but ended up having the best time ever hanging out and playing games at the house. We also played Pickleball at the Garden City Heritage Park where they had 8 courts. We didn’t make it to Pickleville Playhouse this trip but it’s okay because we will definitely be staying at Bear Lake Monster House again!

We love the Bear Lake area and have spent many summers here during our youth and now bring our own kids. Our kids have always been intrigued by the legend of the Bear Lake Monster and so we wanted to incorporate a fun, kid-friendly way to learn this cool piece of history.
