Our family had a great time in “The Gathering Place.” The rooms were large and comfy. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked. It had essentials already there so didn’t have to buy stuff like our last VRBO i.e. dish and washing machine soap, toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. Angela was prompt with replies to questions. The beach was a further walk than I thought it would be though but that was not a terrible problem. . Kids loved pickleball courts. We did have some problems making the tv’s work. Couldn’t get basement one to work. Without tech-savvy people would not have made upstarts work. All in all, great place!!!!

This property was perfect for our family size. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the back yard was perfect for a fun family game of kickball.

We loved the home, yard, access to the beach and pool. The deck was awesome along with the layout of the home. It is a definite "stay again" home.

Great location

This property is in a great location and had plenty of room for our family. A close walk to the lake and near other amenities as well. The owner was great to work with and replied quickly to concerns.

Amazing getaway

This was the perfect place to host our work retreat. Plenty of space for all 20 of us and we were able to get a lot done.

Great family gathering place

Perfect location, great size, clean and comfortable

Clean property in a great location with amazing beach access. The kids enjoyed being downstairs and the adults had the grand room to themselves to enjoy. Large kitchen to serve food and plenty of beds for everyone. I want to buy this place!!!

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time, the home was comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay! We did have a hard time getting through the gate to get to the pool, the password didn’t work., so we just walked around the gate. Would love to plan another trip with my family to go again!

Perfect for Family Reunion

Beautiful clean home with large bedrooms and plenty of beds and bathrooms. Access to Legacy Beach was a huge bonus so we didn't have to use the public beach 20 minutes away. Host was very helpful and quick to answer questions. Minor issues: propane tank was empty for grill and some patio furniture was unusable.

Great family house!!

We had a blast at this large house in garden city! It was spacious for our family reunion. We had all ages in our group. The owner was great to make special accommodations for our family since we traveled during the Covid season. The house was close to the lake and the community pool was fun and near by also. I highly recommend this property! We hope to stay here again next year!!

Wonderful Owner and Nice Home

We had our family of 31 stay in this home for Thanksgiving week. It was a nice new clean home. We had a really great time!!! Chris (the owner) went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful and the home accommodating to our group, especially for Thanksgiving dinner. If we had questions or concerns he got right back with me. Really great stay!!

Perfect House for a Girl's Weekend

We planned a weekend girl's trip and needed a home large enough to fit us all (18 women). This home was not only perfect, but was absolutely beautiful. I loved how open the layout was. We could all be in one room and never felt crowded. Christopher was a great host. We didn't need to, but it was nice knowing if we needed anything he was a text/phone call away.

Great place

This home is a great location. Close to gas stations, grocery stores, hardware stores, food and of course the lake. The home was clean and stocked with a lot of kitchen supplies. If you are wondering if they have it, I would ask. Chances are they do. Towels, bedding, pillows, hand towels, dish soap, hand soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and some beach towels. We had a great time. We stayed over Christmas with all of my children and grandchildren. All the adults and their children had a bed. Plenty of space for all of us. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for such a great home and place to stay.

Lovely accomodations

The house was clean and smelled so good. Having so many bedrooms was awesome and full of all the essential bedding. The kitchen equipment was great. They had everything from a cutting board to pots and pans. Plenty of dinnerware; it was so nice. We enjoyed the grill too. One thing that we missed some how was that the hot tub is not on site. It is about a two block walk to the hot tub. It would have been nice if that was more clear. Another thing we noticed was the lack of body wash and shampoo in the showers. Not a deal breaker just inconvenient . Overall it was a great location and accomodations. We will use this place again use it in the future.

Wonderful home!

This property was perfect for our large family of 34. The host was very responsive answering questions. The location was amazing. The yard and outdoor amenities were wonderful. The following are just suggestions and would not stop us from renting this home again. It really is a wonderful home. One of the bedroom smoke alarms was missing, with wires exposed. Some of the showers could use a little extra attention. Several shower curtains need to be changed, as they are very orange along the bottom section. Just a note : Basic soaps listed in the amenities include a soap bottle for each sink. No soaps or other toiletries are provided for the showers/ bathtubs. The binder at the house also shows that there are some beach towels available, although not one for every person. We could not find any beach towels, which was okay for us as we had brought our own. We were also short on bath towels. With two sets of washers and dryers, we were able to make do. The kitchen pantry is amazing. It was a little difficult to have only one oven. A double oven would have been nice, but we may do. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great Rental

Loved the house and how roomy it was. Very clean and fully stocked.Property had pickle ball and a small splash pad. The only problem we had was we were not able to use the Legacy Beach pool that was advertised in the propery details. That is one reason why we rented this property. When we went over to swim and the pool was closed and hot tub broke. called the number that was given and he told us to find the maintence person. Could never find him. The person we actually talked to said it should be open the next day. It wasn't. The problem we had is that we were never told that it was going to be closed. Had to improvise with the little kids who were looking forward to swimming in the pool. Would definatly stay there again, but would double check on the pool situation.

We love Bear Lake so much we decided to purchase a home there ourselves that our family, friends and your families could enjoy.
