Extremely close (4 min) to New River Gorge park and other activities. Owner was extremely responsive and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Good communication and very prompt. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin while attending the wedding weekend. It was conveniently located to the venue and our river rafting trip. We enjoyed hanging out together playing games after the day’s activities. We really appreciated all the towels that were supplied!

Great space for a group to get together

We had a group on the larger side coming together, and this was the perfect place to be secluded with easy access to the New River Gorge activities. We enjoyed the hot tub, space for lawn games, and the fire pit.

Prefect weekend away

The cabin was the prefect place for a weekend away from reality. Close to great restaurants and the local bars were a lot of fun. We did an ATV adventure tour and had a blast.

Great place!

Our group of 10 has the absolute best time here. The location is great-5 minutes away from New River Gorge, as well as restaurants and groceries. Our kids loved exploring the yard and playing in the house. It was perfect!

A Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

We had a large family gathering for my mother-in-law who is nearly 93. We used both this cabin and cabin #7 for 18 guests plus six more offsite. This cabin has a wonderful, large common space which was great for our large dinners and gatherings. In person, the spaces are even larger than they appear in the listing! The outdoor space was also wonderful with a large campfire area, space for corn hole and lots of parking for our crowd from seven states! There were a few minor maintenance issues and the NEW maintenance person worked around our schedule and was very capable. I would expect near perfection in the future. We also found the location to be very convenient to many trail heads and other great local activities.

Wonderful cabin outside of New River Gorge

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was spacious with great amenities. The location was perfect - away from the hustle and bustle but close to all of the adventures in and around New River Gorge. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was just what we needed during our visit to New River Gorge, which was conveniently right around the corner. It was comfortable, had plenty of living space, and had plenty of beds for everyone. However, the cabin could use a dishwasher and more visible marking for night arrival. Google Maps did not have it accurately marked, and my husband's car ended up in a ditch because it was so dark. We would stay there again, but I'd recommend arriving before it is really dark.

Relaxing and clean

The space was perfect for our family - plenty of space for everyone and room for all of us to have dinner together. The cabin is exactly as described. The area is quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The gorge is very close by and is an incredible sight with plenty of hiking trails to enjoy. Communication with Billie was easy and prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

The benefits of staying in #6 cabin is the ambiance our property offers and how clean we keep everything. Our grounds are very well kept also. We are close to all the area attractions and outfitters. You also get 10% off on any activities offered at Adventures On The Gorge. They are the premier outfitter in the area and offer rafting, rock climbing, mtn. biking, paintball, hiking, pontoon rentals on Summersville lake, and our joint endeavor-Gravity-New River Gorge Zip Lines. They also have Treetops Canopy Tour and 3 restaurants and an outfitters store.
