Newly Renovated, lakefront home right on Highland Lake. Over 50 feet of private frontage, along with a private dock/boat slip. Plenty of space for entertaining and making memories. Spacious deck looking over the lake, quiet and super family friendly neighborhood!

Perfect Homebase for Maine vacation

The property is situated on a lake with a beautiful view and quick access to everything in the Portland area. The property was not only clean and inviting, but the property owners have thought of every little detail to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Plenty of TVs, games, hot tub, kitchen gadgets and plenty of towels and linens. We loved having this place to come back to for rest at the end of a long day exploring Maine. Timissa is incredibly kind and responsive as well. We look forward to visiting again!

Family Fall getaway

Amazing property. Lakeside view and quiet neighborhood, except for a few loons! Beautiful and comfortably appointed for a weekend away. Hot tub was a big hit and nights by the fires were just what we needed at the end of each day.

Wonderful vacation super relaxing!

We stayed for a week Here at the A wonderful stay with our family and friends. It was super relaxing, very easy-going and the people who own it are amazing.! They are beyond communicative and they have everything you would possibly need! A+ cook great meals

Peace and Love

The property was perfect and absolutely exactly how presented. Great location and just a ton of fun! Loved the lake access and close proximity to trails, Portland and local beaches. Had a great time and would love to stay again.

Perfect in every way

This property is located on a private sandy beach with a dock. Perfect for water sports. We paddle boarded, kayaked, jetskied, swam and fished. There are beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails very close by and Sebago Lake is only about 20 min away as is Portland. The location could not be more ideal. The home is well equipped and had plenty of room for our family which was all adults, though there were toys and a crib if needed for smaller children. The house was very clean and each guest room had its own TV and cooling. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking at home though there were great restaurants and breweries nearby. The grocery store is about a 10 min drive. The hosts were very responsive and kind and we would rent again without hesitation. This is a perfect location and rental for parties of 6-10. Hoping we can make this spot a family tradition. Everyone in our family and some cousins who stopped by could not get over how nice it was.

Maine Event

Its an older home that's been renovated, so you get some "rental" feels. You get all the modern amenities with a TV in every room if that's your jam. Location is great and the back deck is amazing. There's beautiful oak trees that form the canopy onsite. Lots of shade. House is close to Portland, Lake Sebago state park and, hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Maine stay

This is an amazing house for a getaway! It has everything you could want, beautiful views and the hot tube is icing on the cake. Plus you’re only about 20 minutes from Portland. Tamissa was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great and Peaceful!

Great cozy getaway but super easy to get to from Portland. My only suggestion is the big beautiful windows also are close to neighbors, people walking dogs, etc. Some curtains would go a long ways in primacy.

Maine Christmas

We had a great family weekend celebrating early Christmas. House was incredibly clean and comfortable. New renovations. Lots of hang out spaces. Quiet. Easy check-in and out. Hosts even decorated for Christmas! Would stay again!

Perfect Lakeside Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at The Lake House for my wife’s birthday. The house had plenty of space for all of us and plenty of amenities too. Perfectly close to Portland while still a little secluded. Big thumbs up to the lake access and the hot tub. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Perfect Space for Family & Friends

The property was beautiful and the hosts were incredible and accommodating. My 15 month old daughter loved the play kitchen and toys, and the adults enjoyed the coffee bar and the many comfortable spaces to hang out and visit. It was raining for the weekend we were there, but the outdoor space was still magical. We took many walks down to the dock with the little one, where she very much enjoyed playing in the sand despite the weather! Would definitely recommend this place to others and will absolutely stay there again if we have the opportunity.

Wonderful Lake House Stay!!!

Matthew and Tamissa were wonderful hosts and incredibly responsive to all questions. The lake house was very clean and offered several amenities for all ages to enjoy. We were traveling with a 6 mos old and it was very convenient to have some of those larger items (high chair, crib, etc.) readily available to use. The entire family enjoyed the kayaks and swimming in the lake. We even saw a bald eagle! It was a certainly a wonderful vacation with some very special memories:)

Peaceful

Everyone in my group found something enjoyable to do whether it was taking the boat out on the lake to do some fishing , tubing or swimming or using the canoe and kayaks that were provided by the host . The hot tub was very soothing at the end of a long day and the spacious deck was very relaxing as well. The lake may be small but it was less crowded than the larger lakes and still had plenty to offer. It's obvious that the home owners want to make your stay as welcoming as possible, they've made many renovations and have added amenities that were not there before. This place offers lots of fun activities as well as peaceful moments and the hosts are very quick to answer any concerns you may have. We would recommend this location to any one of any age .

Awesome lake house stay!

Matthew and Timissa are wonderful hosts. They were very responsive, within 30 minutes, to every question we had. The lake house was just as listed and more. Our family thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities, from the spacious living areas to all the outdoor activities so thoughtfully set up. There were many toys and books available for our granddaughter to use. We definitely will book this property next time we are in the Portland area.

We are the Wrights.' Born and raised right here in Windham, Maine. We have four amazing kiddos, we love enjoying every bit of Maine's beauty with. Kayaking, paddle boarding, ice fishing, hiking...There is always something to do in this beautiful state we call home:-)

This property is actually our first vacation rental, aside from this we mainly focus on long term rental properties. However, it has been a dream to provide a lakefront home, that MANY different families get the opportunity to make memories in. This property has an expansive yard, with private frontage including a sandy area for kiddos to play wading into the water. There is a private dock with solar lights, as well as a private boat slip.

Highland lake is one of the very few lakes to almost always guarantee ice fishing every year. Even mild winters, the lake is typically always guaranteed to freeze. In the summer this lake is extremely boater friendly, without being overly crowded. It is the perfect mix of summer fun, while remaining peaceful. The fireworks every summer are out of this world, the best to be seen. The best benefit to this unique property is that even though it is tucked away, it is under 8 miles to all of North Windham's amenities.
