Pet Friendly in Historic District w/ Private Courtyard by Lucky Savannah

Pineapple Cottage is off of quiet Charlton Street, this two-bedroom, one-bath cottage has everything you could want in a vacation home. Within walking distance to all Savannah has to offer, you’ll simply have to pick a direction to begin your day of exploration.

This one level home has a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, so you can spend some time catching up on your favorite shows. Open to the living area, the kitchen has been fully renovated and has a modern subway-style backsplash and stainless steel appliances. The breakfast bar is a perfect spot to get some work done, or enjoy a home cooked meal, right off the kitchen. You’ll find a private outdoor space, with additional seating outside just off the kitchen, perfect for a gathering of family, friends and pets!

You’ll find both bedrooms split amongst the home, with the bathroom just off of the hall. The first bedroom is deemed the primary suite, and has a king-sized bed, smart television and spacious closet. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed, in addition to a smart television and closet for your belongings. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo, with granite top vanity and plenty of storage beneath.

If you do bring a pet to this dog-friendly home, you'll be in a great location to walk over to Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. A short walk to beautiful Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and a favorite breakfast spot for locals and visitors alike.

Parking: Non-metered Parking
This unit has on-street parking - one side is metered and the other is non-metered in the area. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

We had a great stay here. Everything was VERY clean and well stocked. It was close to shops, parks and restaurants. Check in was simple. We had one vehicle and parking was great, we were able to park right infront each time. Neighborhood had the Savannah charm. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I would also choose it again!

We chose Pineapple Cottage because it was pet friendly and in a good location. We brought our two mini dachshunds and the fenced-in front and back yards were a huge plus! Very comfortable home and the location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Historic Savannah. We had no problem parking on the free side during our four-night stay and moved our vehicle for Wednesday night's sweeping. We did the Oliver Bentley Historic Dog Walk Tour and Savannah Cruzers' Squares/Bonaventure Cemetery Tour (loved the GEM); both were great! We visited Fort Pulaski and drove around Tybee. We ate out every night and River House was our favorite restaurant.

Way better than a hotel room!!!

This place worked out well for a baseball tournament that we were in town for. The parking was easy, everything was quiet, and it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful stay

Clean and comfy, great location! 5 day stay, walked to everything with exception to Tybee and Wormsloe. Definitely recommend and Savannah was gorgeous!

Fabulous Savannah

Had a sister trip and the Pineapple Cottage did not disappoint us. We are both in our 70’s and found the location to be great. Loved the city. Would rebook and come again.

Historic time

Location was in the historic district. We stayed over 4th of July. Walking distance to Riverfront where the fireworks were spectacular. House was as advertised. It’s small, but plenty big enough for a couple and a child. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Cute little spot in Savannah

Location was a nice 5 min drive to downtown, easy to communicate with the host and offered to keep our luggage since we arrived early. Just enough space for 3 people and not too crowded.

This wonderful little cottage is just minutes from downtown, no pay-to-park and such an easy drive to Tybee Island! I can’t recommend enough!

Last min trip

Husband and I decide to get away. So we picked Savannah. House was just as described. Good location, felt safe, close to everything. Would stay again.

Perfect location for Savannah vacay

This property was the perfect location for us and our pups! Everything was perfect except for the master bed(which was quite uncomfy). Other than that, the house had everything we needed! Thanks for a great stay!

Great play to stay in Savannah!

We came to Savannah for a gymnastics meet and were happy we chose this place. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown. Cozy, clean and comfy. My kids had a great time counting 127 pineapples in the home. Love that theme! Loved the book the host put together about things to do in Savannah. We’d love to come back sometime.

Mom and daughters trip

We loved the location and it was great for our size group. I was traveling with my adult daughters and had planned for them to stay in the guest bedroom but it is really sized for one person. The king size bed was accommodating for two to sleep comfortably. The house was within walking distance to a lot of the places we wanted to see. I would recommend pineapple cottage!

Just ok

Minimal supplies. One hand towel and one toilet roll, one coffee pack for a week etc. sofa and chair REALLY need to be replaced. Lots of extra pillows and blankets so that was good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was on a nice street in Savannah. Lots of sidewalks for walking the dogs. Great courtyard for hanging out in the evenings. We were worried about the street parking, but never had any trouble finding a close parking spot. We did have to pay daily attention to the street sweeping schedule. House was easy to spend the week in. Bed was very comfortable.
