Quiet and good neighbors. However there is only 2 1/2 baths not 3 baths. Rooms size is ok, but the basement rooms and bath are a little noisy around.

Communication from the host was FANTASTIC, check in was super easy. Location was perfect for all our sightseeing adventures in the Boston area.If you are a group of Senior's...you may want to look for another property. We were a group of nine, ranging from ages 64-85 with various ambulatory issues. All bedrooms are only accessible by stairs. The lower bed on bunk beds are super low to the ground and it was very difficult for our age group to get in and out of those beds. The beds however were VERY comfortable!The shower in the basement is about 12" off the ground, getting in and out was difficult for our group. There definitely needs to be more seating places not only around the dining room table, but chairs on the upper level and basement would be a nice addition.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If you're a younger group, this place will be PERFECT for your needs!

New England visit

My family and I spent fall break at this rental coming from the west coast. It had a lot of room for us all, a good size kitchen and plenty of room for everyone on the couch. We never ran out of towels or blankets and there were a lot of things to cook with in the kitchen. Host replied very quickly to any questions. Neighborhood was quiet, not much to walk to you would need to drive for the nearest store or restaurant but it felt completely safe. Only cons I would say were the windows downstairs don’t lock, however we were able to use the little latches that let you keep the window cracked without opening all the way which was fine. The beds were also pretty hard and squeaky but it was a minor flaw compared to everything else being really convenient and comfortable.

This home worked well for our needs on this trip. It was clean, beds were comfortable, check in was easy and our host was very communicative. If you are looking for the basics - a space to shower and sleep - this could be your spot!

Fit our needs perfectly

Our large family group needed accommodations in this area for a memorial service: we were all from out of state. This property was conveniently located for the services and the trip into the city afterwards. Our host provided all relevant check-in information well in advance, and the process was seamless and simple. The only negatives were the sticky doors (granted, we were there during a high humidity period) and the air conditioning could have been more effective - but overall this was a pleasant stay under difficult conditions and we appreciate the hospitality shown by our host.

Good for big groups

We attended a wedding and stayed in this place. The house is big and has 5 bedrooms with multiple beds which serves us well because we were 12 people. The rooms are located upstairs and basement with stairs that can be steep for older people. There were plenty of pillows and towels you can use. Location of the house was very quiet. Jenny Vu was easy to talked to and was very responsive.

House description not quite accurate but made it work!

We were in town for our daughters sport senior night with all adult family members. I had said there would be 5 adults although we only ended up with 4. Upon arrival, only 2 bedrooms were unlocked. I had to request to have another bedroom unlocked for my adult son to have his own room. The response was quick. If we truly had another adult, I would have needed to request another, as we were not a group of couples and everyone wanted their own space. There is only one bathrooom/shower upstairs that we all needed to share, which made it a mad rush when we all needed to get ready for an event at the same time. The main floor has a half bath. I honestly did not walk into the basement myself but was told by my spouse that all rooms were locked down there. I did greatly appreciate that we were able to bring our doodle and the house was perfect for that as there wasn't any carpeting in the main living area. There was also a nice little neighborhood that I was able to safely walk my dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the open area with a big TV and couch were also wonderful for chatting with family. I would stay here again, but I would request to have all bathrooms available and be very specific about needs of having separate bedrooms for adults!

Stingy with beds

I informed them it was 4 friends, mixed company and I would need at least 2 rooms and 4 beds. They did meet those requests, but it was 3 beds in 1 room and 1 in the other, so I had to bring the to bunk down, move the furniture in the 2nd room and a friend had to sleep on it in the ground.

Perfect for what we came for!

You can tell a lot of work has been done on the property and maybe still more to be done. We didn’t have intentions of being at the house much as we had tons of plans while visiting Boston so the accommodations were suitable and within the price range we had. Jenny was great with accommodating our needs as such a large group and communicating with her through messaging was easy.

Great for large groups and people with pets! The house did have an odor that’s probably from a guest bringing there cat(s) in the past. Other than that, plenty of room and it’s well kept.

The house is neat and comfortable

One room we never got access to it . Emailed the manager and she had no clue the code. We had to share and make accommodation for sleeping which was very inconvenient . The dishwasher doesn’t work. The sink cap is old and cut one of ours finger .

Perfect home base

We rented this house with family while attending a wedding. Location was perfect and it was a great place to come & go to/from wedding activities. It had all the necessities and felt like a home vs. hotel. A detail we really appreciated was the picture books about the Northeast!
