I’m sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. I want to clarify a few points for future guests. First, we were in constant communication throughout your stay via phone and text message. Regarding the propane: a leak in the tank was discovered on Saturday evening, and while I immediately contacted the propane company, they only respond to emergencies on Sundays. Since the propane is used solely for cooking, it was not deemed an emergency, and was refilled on Monday. The timing on this was unfortunate and I apologize that it impacted your stay. In response to your cleanliness concerns, we had our cleaners return and perform a full additional cleaning on the first day of your stay, addressing the specific issues you raised. We’ve also since replaced the rusted pans and have contracted a new garbage service to ensure more timely trash pickup. Our goal is to ensure every guest has a comfortable stay, and any concern we can address, we will—guests only need to ask. I appreciate your feedback and have already made improvements based on your experience. We hope to welcome you back for a better stay in the future.

I'm truly disappointed to see this review, as we worked diligently to accommodate your concerns, including performing an additional deep clean, refunding your cleaning fee, and responding to daily requests to ensure you and your family enjoyed your stay. While I respect that this is how you feel, I do not believe it accurately reflects the home or its management. That said, I regret that there were some cleaning issues when you initially arrived. We addressed them immediately and have taken further action by bringing on a new cleaning team and scheduling additional regular deep cleans to ensure a high cleaning standard for future guests. To clarify your statement about speaking with four different people: the only individuals you communicated with were myself, the owner, and Jason, our property manager. We both worked closely with you throughout your stay to address your concerns. Regarding the fence, the entire backyard is still enclosed in a fence as shown in the pictures. We did remove the section of fence which separates the backyard into two sections in response to feedback from other guests that removing that section would improve pool access.
