The Casa Adobe Guest Apartment is a modern, two-story living space with a kitchen, living room, upstairs bedroom and balcony, outdoor sitting pool, and tropically landscaped yard. The apartment is only a150 meter walk to the beach for those looking for a convenient location, private setting, with easy access to the center of Puerto Jimenez (5-minute car ride) and many other nearby beach and rainforest activities. The quiet, beachfront neighborhood is well known by locals and guides alike.
This property is aesthetically beautiful in a lush area with a fantastic pool for relaxing in. Otherwise the process of communication before and during the stay was difficult. Jenny was slow to respond and the amenities were not as stated. NO hot water!!!! Washer and dryer not working, refrigerator never cooled and we lost food we brought as a result! The neighborhood was wonderful! Adventura tours and cafe around the corner were welcoming, delicious food and friendly people. Botanika Hilton also nearby is beautiful and a great place for a dinner and drink. Delfines and Marbella restaurant were both excellent. This property can be great when the issues are addressed I hope they will work to improve the experience so others can enjoy.

Met our needs
Property was as advertised. It was nice to have an ensuite off the bedroom, and AC in the bedroom was fantastic. The second bathroom on the main floor was huge. Both showers worked but the water was not hot, so showers were always refreshing😅. Water had to be heated in a kettle for washing dishes. The bed and pillows were ok. Bed was hard for our liking, but bedding firmness is personal. Our host was easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly. The pool was great and was cleaned and treated regularly.
The closest beach is a short walk away, but that beach is not ideal (river outlet and is soft and muddy bottom with potential for crocodiles) . There is a much better beach in Puerto Jimenez (PJ) that is a short drive or a 20 minute walk. We loved the location as traffic noise was minimal and we didn't mind walking to town for groceries and things. If that's not what you like, it's easy to rent a car in PJ. They will even come pick you up at the Casita and bring you to the office.
It was nice having access to laundry machines and they worked fine. There was a drier, but we always just hung the laundry on the line to dry.
We were able to get fresh lemons and oranges from trees on the property. That was really great when a relative of Jenny came and picked oranges for us😋.
So, in summary, the Casita met our needs. Hot water was missed, but we survived. The fridge and freezer worked. The stove burners worked, as did the toaster oven. AC was great.
