Welcome to Doc's Sanctuary! This apartment is located in what was once the home of Industrialist Seabury Gould; founder of Goulds Pumps. This italianate building built in 1850 has been a home, the town hall, and most recently a family medicine practice; now a spacious apartment located in the center of Seneca Falls in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. Private parking, safe community, walking distance to downtown, and private entrance to second floor apartment.

Good. If you are a senior citizen then be aware that we will need to climb up 15 steps with luggage to acess room.

A Wonderful Place!

Doc's Sanctuary ticks off all the boxes for a great vacation rental --- historic building; quiet, comfortable, spacious, light-filled accommodation; scrupulously clean; excellent location; off street parking; and a very attentive host who is readily available to answer questions. If we are ever back in the Seneca Falls area, we would not hesitate to book again.

Spacious and great location

We enjoyed our stay in Seneca Falls for the solar eclipse. The property is a great location for walking to the downtown, museums, and sculpture trail. It’s quiet, spacious, and has lots of natural light.

Wonderful apartment in historic Seneca Falls

A couple of friends and I attended the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) Centennial Convention and this was the perfect place for us to stay. It was literally across the street from the church where the convention was held. It was clean, spacious and perfect for the 3 of us. Thanks for a great stay!

I am a semi-retired family physician that enjoys gardening, walking my two dogs with my wife, and spending time with our 11 grandchildren. We are excited to have you at our apartment as a launching pad to explore Seneca Falls and the rest of the Finger Lakes.

Our apartment is located less than a quarter mile (.1) to the downtown Seneca Falls district including, The National Women's Hall of Fame, The Women's Rights National Historical Park, The It's A Wonderful Life Museum, and many restaurants and shops.

This 2nd floor apartment offers plentiful private off street parking, is centrally located in the heart of the Fingerlakes Wine Region, less than 10 minutes from the NYS Thruway, and within an hour drive of Rochester, Syracuse, and Ithaca. From wineries and breweries to Vegas-quality casino entertainment, outdoor hiking to lake boating, national and state parks to historic locales; this apartment puts you within arms reach of it all.
