The area surrounding our guest house offers numerous opportunities to stay active. The MTU trails are well-developed to accommodate all levels of skiing and biking enthusiasts. The nearby Waterfront Trail, with its scenic views, leads directly to downtown Houghton. For nature lovers, the Nara Nature Trail Boardwalk provides an excellent spot to observe birds and other wildlife. Additionally, the Portage Lake Golf Course is conveniently within walking distance from the house.
