Entire 3-story house in one of the best neighborhoods in Houston for visitors or professionals. Very walkable area, surrounded by cafes, bakeries, shops, bars, and some of the best restaurants in the city. Very close to Downtown, Midtown, Medical Center, Rice University campus, Museum District, and premium shopping districts such as Galleria. 3 bedrooms (King-size bed in largest bedroom), 3 private bathrooms, 5 premium beds, fast wifi, TVs, rooftop patio. Clean, convenient, comfortable. Great place for professional visitors and families.

Great, spacious place in trendy location

I was initially hesitant to stay here because the reviews were only OK, but the stay was great, very spacious house, lots of great dining and bars nearby. 10/10.

Central, spacious, clean, comfortable.

Stayed as family of 5 with adult children. Spacious accommodation. Clean. Central to most Houston attractions. Had an attached garage which is a must for the area and worked great with the rental. Nicely decorated. Enjoyed watching movies with the family in the evening. Would stay again if back in Houston.

This is an absentee vrbo

No paper towels, one kitchen towel, no coffee filters, plumbing problems (a tub was overflowing when we arrived), shampoo bottles and soap were missing pumps and were empty and the place was not well cleaned. Over 80 degrees when we checked in. When I called owner to tell him about plumbing and ask about coffee situation he said they had a Kuerig, but it was not there. When I informed him he said it was stolen and he never offered to replace it even though I purchased pods at the store. the owner said no one had stayed there lately and he had clearly not been there or he would know this stuff. We left a day early just to get out. I am from Houston and know the area. Parts of montrose are charming but this is not one of them if the graffiti is any indication. I think these people must not care about hosting as it was just bad. The beds were really old and cheap as well and rest was a struggle for the for the stay.

These are some harsh words from a guest who was otherwise exceptionally polite and unassuming during his stay. I wish he comminicated some of his expectations and displeasure while we had a chance to do something about it. There is a supply closet at the house by the front door, with all sorts of supplies, including toiletries, paper towels and 4-5 new shampoo bottles. We have replaced the cleaning crew since that hosting experience and we will certainly keep a better eye on the new crew for overall cleanliness. As far as the comment about the Montrose area being not nice, this is just purely malicious nonsense. You can say the same for 99% of Houston. This house is in the heart of the Montrose area. The location is very convenient to access a lot of other parts of town. There are no graffiti in the vicinity of the house that I know of. There is a large mural on a nearby building, which I think the City of Houston paid for.
