All you need

Cozy little place. Clean and organized. Bed was comfy and sofa bed wasn’t bad either. No blinds so bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in at all but that’s the only little issue. Great place

Wow! What a great experience at this Granby Ranch condo! We absolutely LOVED our stay during our fall getaway. The condo was cozy and stocked with everything we needed! The bed slept very well, and the complex was quiet. Communication with the host was excellent! The only downside was that our trip itinerary wouldn’t allow us to stay longer! 5 out of 5 stars. I would HIGHLY recommend booking your stay in this condo!!!

オーナーのプロフィール画像
Hi, I’m Lauren, a former ballet dancer turned mountain lover who believes life is best lived outdoors and full of memorable experiences. After years of staying in vacation rentals as a traveler, I began hosting in 2014 with a simple goal: to create spaces that feel warm, thoughtfully designed, and effortlessly functional... the kind of places I’d want to stay in myself.

I’m based in Colorado with my partner, two dogs, and a cat (yes, it’s a bit of a zoo), and when I’m not hosting or working in marketing, you’ll probably find me out hiking a new trail, obsessively building the perfect playlist, or dreaming up our next travel adventure (seeing gorillas in Virunga National Park is still top of the list).

Sundog Condo reflects everything I love about the mountains: slow mornings with coffee and big views, cozy nights by the fire, and the freedom to ski, hike, bike, or do absolutely nothing at all. I designed it to be a true basecamp... a place to relax deeply after days spent outside.

Over the past 11 years as a host, I’ve learned that what matters most is making guests feel cared for - with clear communication, thoughtful touches, and a space that’s clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised.

Whether you're planning a romantic escape, a family getaway, or a solo recharge in the Rockies, I’d love to welcome you to Granby. Thanks for considering our place for your next adventure!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love with Granby Ranch for its peaceful mountain energy, stunning scenery, and true four-season adventure. It has all the beauty and outdoor access of Colorado’s most famous resort towns…without the crowds, chaos, or long lift lines.

Just 90 miles from Denver, Granby Ranch feels like a world away. You’re surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest, with ski slopes, hiking and biking trails, golf, and fishing right outside your door. It’s the kind of place where you can go from a morning trail run to an afternoon paddle or powder day, and then unwind by the firepit under a sky full of stars.

In the winter, Granby Ranch offers ski-in/ski-out access, ideal for families and first-timers as well as experienced skiers looking for a laid-back, affordable alternative to bigger resorts. There’s also snowshoeing, Nordic trails, tubing, and après-ski at the Base Lodge with live music and cozy dining.

Come spring and summer, the mountains bloom. Miles of scenic trails, wildflower-covered meadows, lift-served mountain biking, and an 18-hole golf course offer something for every kind of outdoor enthusiast. Fall is pure magic… golden aspens, cool nights, and perfect firepit weather.

You’re also just 20 minutes from Grand Lake, Winter Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park - making Granby Ranch the perfect central hub for exploring Colorado’s high country.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds: year-round adventure and small-town calm. It’s a place where you can breathe deeper, slow down, and reconnect…with nature and each other.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes Sundog Condo special isn’t just the location - though being steps from the ski lifts and trails at Granby Ranch is pretty great - it’s the way we’ve outfitted it to feel like your own private mountain retreat.

Freshly remodeled in July 2025, the condo combines cozy charm with modern conveniences. It’s perfect for couples, small families, or solo travelers looking to unwind after a day of adventure.

Guests consistently rave about the details:

- A king bed with Brooklinen linens and blackout shades for a great night’s sleep

- A gas fireplace and plush queen sleeper sofa in the living room

- A fully stocked kitchen with high-quality cookware, waffle maker, slow cooker, blender, rice cooker, and more

- Three ways to make your morning brew: Nespresso, French press, or drip coffee — with starter coffee, tea, and creamer included

- A dedicated workspace and fast WiFi for working remotely

- A closet full of board games, puzzles, and books for unplugged evenings

Families love the thoughtful extras: pack ’n play, high chair, baby gate, outlet covers, and toys.

Step outside to your private patio, complete with a gas firepit, Adirondack chairs, and blankets for crisp evenings and stargazing. The year-round hot tub is just steps away, and there’s a shared BBQ and picnic area nearby.

Holiday stays feel festive with a decorated Christmas tree, garland over the fireplace, stockings, and a menorah with candles...so you can celebrate your way.

We also provide a printed Welcome Guide and an online resource with our favorite local recommendations, seasonal tips, and trip planning tools - all curated to help you experience Granby like a local.

Whether you're here to ski, hike, fish, golf, or simply relax, Sundog Condo is designed to make your mountain escape effortless and memorable.
