Welcome to The Hideaway - D!

The OCEAN breeze is calling YOU!! Enjoy direct beach access across from The Hideaway. Walking distance to Surf City Pier, Aquarium, local restaurants, specialty shops, and all the main attractions Surf City offers. The Hideaway is set up perfectly for a stress free, pet friendly, and family fun vacation. Load up some beach toys, grab some beach chairs and walk directly across the street to enjoy a long day at the beach! Afterwards - chill out in the fully fenced in backyard, let the kids run around on the play set, and cook up your latest masterpiece on the grill! Surf City is the perfect quaint beach town. From the Hideaway you can easily walk to multiple restaurants, shops, entertainment, and of course - the beach! This cozy 2-bedroom 1 bath apartment is perfect for a family who does not need a huge home for their week get away! The Hideaway D is located at the top right of the building.

Great weekend getaway

Our family loved our stay…even our dog too! The beach access is super close and restaurants too. The fenced in backyard and porch areas were a lovely bonus. We hope to return!

Close to everything

My partner, son, and sister all stayed at Turtle Shell Hideaway for one week and we really enjoyed it. The location was exactly what we were hoping for since we were able to walk not only to the beach access but to get groceries, ice cream, and coffee.

Best Location Ever!

I would highly recommend staying at this lovely property. It is perfect for those with kids and/or dogs--the back yard is just brilliant! Communication between ourselves and the hosts was great as well. We had a few issues while we were there but they were all resolved quickly through the VRBO app. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

Perfect spot

My fiancé and I had a great time at Turtle Shell Hideaway! The location was the perfect spot for us to easily access the beach as well as all the restaurants and shops near the pier. We would gladly stay here again!

Great place!

Location is perfect and nice for a family get away! Everything is within walking distance and the pier to the beach is right across the street. My dogs loved the fenced in backyard and it was peaceful. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a small family place. Will stay again for sure!!!
