Fantastic Stay

We traveled for a local graduation and extended weekend on the beach. Our stay was fantastic from before we got to town. The owners messaged us before we arrived with info on the stay, local hot spots and everything we needed to know about the house! Once we arrived the house was absolutely beautiful and clean! The house had plenty of supplies for a family to stay and enjoy without worry! Towels and toiletries were great! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed and more and small appliances! The amenities were great. Kayaks out the back, hot tub, bikes, and perfect beach cart with chairs and umbrella! The owners have got everything you need to enjoy the stay and have a great time! Just got off the plane and stopped for milk on the ride over! We did have a slight issue which we contacted the owners and they immediately answered and came right over to help! We’re super friendly and couldn’t recommend them anymore! We will absolutely be staying here again! We look forward to the stay!

Enjoyable Trip

Perfect place to stay. Beautiful views and short walk to beach. Lots of restaurants close by. It was a wonderful trip. This townhouse is very clean and nice. We would enjoy going back.

Spring Break 2025

Amazing stay. Close to everything. Beautiful views of the sound. Loved having bikes at our disposal. House had everything we needed. Owners are wonderful communicators. We look forward to coming back again!

Surf City Beach

Surf City is a very laid back place with not much to do in terms of activities but the beach is peaceful, beautiful and clean. The house we have been is clean, well maintained with all the amenities needed to get the feel of home. It has beautiful views from the deck towards the swamps. The hosts were very courteous and helpful. Overall our trip was very peaceful and quiet time to catch up with family.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our trip so much to this beautiful property! It was so nice to be close to both the beach and the intercoastal. We kept busy with fishing, kite flying, brewery visits, something for everyone. The sunsets from the decks were just gorgeous. The owners were very friendly and helpful.The house was so clean and fresh! We will definitely be coming back!

Last summer beach weekend

We met my sister’s family at the beach. We loved that the house was on the intercostal side but still only a few blocks from the beach. It was so peaceful sitting on the decks for coffee in the morning and watching the sunsets in the evening. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook our own meals. We used the kayaks to explore the area behind the homes. The hot tub was perfect!

Amazing!!! Will be recommending Lorsons Landing to everyone I know!

I have been coming to Topsail since my childhood and this is my favorite place that I have stayed! Extremely clean, beautiful scenery, short walk to the beach, and very friendly/responsive hosts. We had so much fun kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub as well. We actually ended up getting engaged on the dock that is used to launch the kayaks! Best vacation ever, looking forward to returning next summer!

Beach Getaway

Lovely home, great location, has everything to make your stay memorable…fully stocked kitchen-we like to cook, kayaks, bikes and beach cart was a lifesaver! A great place to reconnect with my adult children!

Beautiful Sunsets

We stayed here recently with family. Everything was great. The back porch overlooked the marsh and had stunning sunsets every evening. We met a few neighbors who were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The hosts were also very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Great spot!!

We had such a great stay. The hosts were so accommodating and made everything so easy from start to finish. The sunsets from the back deck were so beautiful and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Great location close to restaurants, coffee, ice cream, etc. as well. Highly recommend!!

Great Location

Perfect vacation house!

This house is absolutely the perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation. Gorgeous house, decorated beautifully, amazing views of the sound from three balconies. The house is stocked with everything you need (including all the things you usually have to provide for yourself—spices, dishwasher pods, etc.). The Lorsons are warm, helpful, and responsive to any need you may have. We absolutely loved our stay at “Lorson Landing” and will be back in the future!

Great spot for a long weekend

The home was just as described, very clean and comfortable. The owners were nice enough to leave an air mattress for us to use while we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed. It may be hard to cross the busy road to walk to the beach for a family with small children but for our crew it wasn’t too bad, even on the holiday weekend. We enjoyed the deck and the view. Very nice place!

Gorgeous views!

This is a lovely, comfortable, and welcoming home in Surf City on Topsail Island, NC! The views from the upper and lower decks were magnificent! We literally spent hours sitting on the deck off the LR, in comfy chairs, talking, while looking and listening to all the wonders of the marsh and waterways. So peaceful and relaxing. The home itself was well appointed, had everything we needed, I’ve been to a couple of other rental homes which were almost bare and stark - not this home! It has warmth and personality, and you can tell it has been well cared for. We loved the beds and that there was a bathroom for each BR. House was super clean. And the owners, Joe and Missy, were so incredibly nice and kind, very helpful and responsive! It was a terrific place to stay, and would love to return :)

Jazz Get Away

Perfect location while attending the annual Ocean City Jazz Festival in July with my best friends and spouses. The townhouse was impeccable in all ways and including everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. The owners were accessible and available to make sure our stay was great. If you’re planning a visit to Topsail Island, NC, this is the place, except for the weekend of the Ocean City Jazz Festival, it might be taken☺️

Surf Sound and Sunsets

Both the hosts and property are very welcoming. Many amenities and location make this property very convenient. Short walk to beach was not a problem especially when using the cart provided. Ending each day watching gorgeous sunsets over the sound from the properties many balconies. Was a favorite for everyone. Along with kayaking and exploring the sound before or after a fun day at the beach.

Convenient Location

Place and location were perfect. Many amenities the others do not have. Bikes and Kayaks were a great touch. In all honesty, sitting on the porch overlooking the marsh and Intercoastal was worth every dime to me. Thanks for hosting!!

We are Joe and Malissa Lorson. We are the owners and the managers of this property.
We live nearby in Jacksonville, NC and we are available to assist immediately should anything come up during your stay. We bought this beautiful beach property in Spring of 2015.
Together we have 6 six children & 4 wonderful grandbabies.
We love our jobs but just as much we love relaxing at the beach and enjoying the company of each other and our family. We want to give you and your family the same experiences we've had here on Topsail Island.

You will fall in love with the serenity of the water views from all rooms in this beautiful home. You will especially enjoy the peacefulness of being directly on the waterway. We have a 6 person hot-tub to soothe your muscles and your mind. When you're done in the hot-tub, take a stroll down the lighted pier and relax on the small dock. You can fish, crab, watch the wildlife or enjoy a glass of wine. We've seen more species of birds from this dock than we ever dreamed imaginable.

As soon as we walked in, we both knew this was it! We haven't met anyone who didn't feel exactly the same after staying here. You will find all the luxuries of home, a complete and furnished kitchen with all the upgrades.
