Solar-eV Country Home - Quaint Cazenovia!

"The house is beautiful!" "Thank you for the ... hospitality!" These are typical comments from guests who stay at our home!

This modern country home is two miles outside quaint Cazenovia village and Cazenovia Lake. In summer, that means easy access to hiking trails, the Art Park, biking routes, lake activities, and great cafes and restaurants. In winter, it's cross country skiing at local county and state parks and downhill skiing at several area resorts. This home is perfect for couples and families with lots of room and comfort, rain or shine. It's set in the rolling hills of Madison County. Syracuse is a 30 minute drive and it and surrounding towns offer sports, theatre, and an additional wide array of restaurants and outdoor activities. The home has an open, modern design with spacious kitchen and dining area, family room, two large and two smaller bedrooms, and a deck with hot tub. Now powered by solar with eV charger in garage.

Wonderful stay

Had a great time staying at the house. The surrounding area is very nice and it’s really close to downtown Caz. Accommodations in the house were above and beyond, we were 4 adults and enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Getaway

The home was lovely! The rooms were spacious and very clean. Having a hot tub is always a nice touch! Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Great Week!!!

My family stayed at this property for a week over the 4th. John was a great host and has a great house. A lot of room and so nice to sit outside on the porch. Really appreciate the opportunity to stay here!!

Lovely and peaceful

All the comforts of home in a beautiful country setting less than 10 minutes to the lake and the charming village. Excellent beds, fully appointed kitchen, an open floor plan, and large windows looking out on a rolling grassy hill and split rail fence.

Fantastic Family House!

We completely enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, well laid out, and had every convenience we needed. John was a gracious host and made it easy for us to check in and out. The property is beautiful and the whole family enjoyed it. Quick access to Cazenovia and a 25 minute drive to Colgate. We didn't want to leave!

Graduation visit

Visiting for Syracuse graduation, and this short drive was well worth it. John's home was ideal for our situation, and he was excellent to deal with. Clean, spacious, and lacking nothing. Highly recommend.

Lovely quiet spot to accomodate group of 5

This was the perfect place for a group of 5 of us to land while we attended a week long pottery workshop minutes away. The house is clean, comfortable and spacious. It was incredibly well stocked with all of the essentials including for cooking. Tucked away from the main road, the sound of traffic is minimal and the surroundings are beautiful. Our host always responded promptly. We will be recommending this house for future workshop attendees

There's nothing like going for a long hike, bike ride, or swim in our peaceful natural surroundings. I've lived abroad and I love learning about other places and introducing 'my' home to others. I've used Airbnb a lot and I'm a Couchsurfing host. I like to be supportive and engaging; at the same time, I respect the privacy of my guests.
